rape and medical conditions are obvious exceptions but the majority of abortions nowadays could have been prevented by being a little more responsible. it should not be used as contraception. more is known about the foetus now and how early on it begins to feel and hear.

When a woman decides to have an abortion it is a personal decision of one individual affecting one other potential individual. There are medical or 'family' reasons that can affect this decision but the fact is that it is becoming a social or lifestyle choice in many cases. I disagree with such lifestyle choices but believe in womens' right to choose; they are still too far from real equality.

When a 'soldier' fires a missile, artillery shell or whatever and doesn't know for certain who the target is, that is a different territory. After the 2nd World War soldiers were tried and hung for following morally outrageous orders, but no country that has ever fought a war is free from guilt, sometimes a higher morality is served by the majority who just want to see the end of a fearful threat.

There is no way that terrorism can be condoned in any moral sense, unfortunately religion and politics collide here and the ordinary people of the Middle-East and many other places have been outrageously exploited by their own leaders and Western countries for centuries. This is an unfortunate result of and continuation of a culture clash that will only begin to be healed when EVERYONE admits the mistakes of the past and agrees not to repeat them.

Where is the CIVILISED invention - CONTRACEPTION??? 500... each day... they better run to psyhiatrists. How to care about murderers threaten by other murderers? Its pointless. Seems that it is a real truth that "What citizens such politicians". Politicians use offence to "fight" with terrorism when they realy create anothers by this mistake. Simple ideological treatment and geting help of true needed helpers - normal Islam society - would make each one terrorist a known criminal in all places in the world. No place to escape and no place to prepear for attack would close the trap and rid of them whole civilized cooperating world. It is my dream that seems simply dieing anyway. If British people are so fallen society they should stop claiming to be better than other societies.
This is my poetry I send as letter to those that dont care about their children and as I understand they dont care about themselves too:

Faked truth is a lie

Truth is hidden under faked you show
I will find it and make you blow
because lie kills your soul
you are dust and foul
pierced by my heavy curse
care abot children like nurse
or something will change
you dont know its range
like dificult question to ask
you will newer know your task
written in your heart
understand so hard

the ppl that get on a plane dont choose 2 die and get on the plane thinking there is very little risk of dying. at least the mothers of these aborted babies have a choice, all be it not the best choice. like me, i had an abortion at 17 yrs old. the father (my partner) was very violent towards me, i was on the pill but he wouldn't let me take it so i got pregnant eventually, once he found out his plan worked he ordered me 2 have an abortion else he's kick it out of me. i thought the abortion was a quicker way 4 my baby 2 die rather than being beaten so that's what i did.
am i wrong 4 what i did?
i now have 2 children and regret the baby i aborted but i had no choice at the time.

Can I just pick up on a word you used in your additional details: RESPONSIBLE.
Is it really a responsible society that allows a kid who should have known better, but for whatever reason didn't to be made to be responsible for a child that will be tottally dependant on that person. I do support abortion where the woman or girl (in most cases) feels they can not take care of the child. Yes there are other options but I think it's three times as cruel to expect someone to give up their child.

Sorry, but you just p1ssed all over your own argument when you stated that its ok to abort less than perfect babies and those resulting out of rape, are they less deserving of life then?

So by your own standards then, it would be ok then to blow up an aircraft full of 300 disabled children?

Look, I'm pro-choice when it comes to this, the only thing I think is that the limits should be reduced to about 16 weeks.

What about spontaneous abortions - miscarriages? Who is 'murdering' those babies? God? Women have an absolute right to choose what to do with their bodies, including the right to decide whether or not they want to go through a pregnancy and bear a child. Innocent air passengers ahve an absolute right not to be murdered by terrorists. It's very simple when you think about it, but like most "right to life" bigots, you won't bother thinking about it.

there are many reasons why people choose abortion and i am not here to condone or praise it. i am from a childless relationship and yes it does pee me off to think that i could have adopted one of these children, but that does not give me the right to tell another person how they should live their lives how you can even compare the two acts is beyond me. having a child at the wrong point in your life would not only ruin this persons life but probably that of the child's unwanted and unloved i have my own views on abortion and i think to compare it with terrorism is down right irresponsible and shows you have little knowledge other than religious motivations for pro life.

Abortion MUST NEVER be used in this type of arguement. There is absolutely not one ounce of comparable arguement.

If raped by a relative or dad or if pregnancy is ectopic and life threatening - what would you do? Die or treat the illness? Could you bear your own sibling in your belly til birth?

It is a private and most difficult choice and contrary to those who argue the point it is NOT used as birth control by 99.9% of women who've had to resort to such lengths.

I find the comparison disgusting and unwarranted.
