If you have not thrown it and had it rejected. My friend and I had this discussion and he said hey it is not their money either so why not take toll money from the coin return. My opinion was it is not yours so leave it to them. Who is correct in this situation? And are their any laws or policies against that?

If you were on probation for something that was a misdemeanor charge and was very minor, how much trouble can you get in for moving 4 months before it was over. I put constant requests into the Probation officer to allow me to move or end it early (always saying she would) and it always got talked around in circles for years. Finally, I had to move, school was over and I was offered a job 6 hours away. I cannot find any warrants after this in the home state and nothing has happened since. I'm not hiding...I've written numerous letters to the issuing judge, explaining the situation, whom I know and have never received anything back and I've given my home address and phone. I have no ties in that state anymore, everything I have, Drivers License, is where I live now. This has been almost 2 years now. Any advice? Is it possible because it was almost over and it was just a minor misdemeanor it was swept under the table?

Obviously when you are in the wilderness you can pee in public. Deer hunting? Sure. A friend was put in jail for more than tree days for urinating off a rural road with nobody around in -- guess where? -- Louisiana. (And no, he did not challenge the cops at all, and was apologetic). This person came to Louisiana to help with the Katrina recovery effort (and is a Republican for those of you who think in those binary terms), working tirelessly for over a year, and now finds himself a role in Deliverance II. Unbelievable!

Many people feel that way, but my family is so backwards that they believe that if you do someone wrong, they have EVERY right to come back on you twice as hard.

Can you be against something morally but be okay with it politically? Say I was against abortion morally but politically felt that I couldn't choose for someone else, so I would be pro-life morally but pro-choice politically. Is that hypocritical or is it mearly not feeling right about forcing what I believe on others? Does anyone else have this opinion?

2 years ago my housemate basically just disappeared, leaving behind his car and all his belongings (stereo, TV, personal effects etc). We managed to track him down - he had decided to move from Brisbane to Sydney to chase a girl.

We asked him to collect his stuff and he told us he would within a few months. As this was someone we had known for many years we trusted this.

Over the past 2 years we have repeatedly called him trying to get him to get rid of his stuff. We moved it all into our garage (his car was already in there and we are unable to move it as it has no gearbox and we don't have the keys). We always get the same answer "work is busy - I should be able to get up there in a month ir 2 though".

We are sick of this. We have to park our brand new car in the driveway and we want to move from this house soon. We want his stuff gone!!

We have asked the police and the local courthouse, neither of which have been able to answer how we get rid of it. Does anyone know?

I live in a neighborhood that has been the site of many car break-ins and thefts. If I see someone breaking into a car should I just call police? Should I try to take pictures of the person/person's car? Should I let them know that I see them? Can I release a dog on them or is that illegal (in California)? If they leave before the police arrive should I follow them? The theives have broke into almost every car within 2 blocks of my home, including my cars two separete times. I once witnessed people gutting a neighbors garage at 2 in the morning, when I called the cops they said they'd send someone out. The guys were gone within 5 minutes. I returned a call to the cops and followed the guys in the car. The police told me to stop following them and that they would send a crew out to search my neighborhood. By the time I hung up with the cops the theives were 11 miles away from my house. I soon lost the guys and they got away with about 2,000 dollars worth of stuff. What should I do?

My brother was sentenced to 40yrs for armed robbery in a small town named Ruston,La.I'm not saying he should have got off free but 40yrs is extensive for a 18yr old first time offender. The guy who commited the crime with my brother had more money and a better lawyer and is free today. I'm a soldier in the US Army, served 15 months in Iraq, hate to believe that a country that I fought and put my life on the line for has a justice system that isn't fair and is partial to people with money.

I swear, I am going to ask this same sort of question for everything that I post which is removed. What if I'm studying for a movie and I want it to look real? "With this knowledge, you could steal cars and our whole social structure could break down!" No. You're wrong. I know how to steal a car. Walk up to someone, point a gun at them and say "give me your car or I will dust your arrse, beoch". Sorry a-r-s-e is some sort of cuss word for Yahoo. Google wouldn't do that to me, would you Google? Good oogly Google.
