You must be twelve years old to stay home alone legally in all lower 48 states.

It depends on two things:

1. how mature you are
2. how your parents feel about leaving you alone.

There is really no law stating such. The child just has to be responsible enough. Of course, common sense should come into play here. Leaving a 12 year old for a couple hours is one thing. Leaving the same 12 year old for a couple of days is another story altogether.

There is no set age where I live. I think it's up to your parents, how responsible you are and where your parents are going. When I started letting the kids home alone they were about 11 with a small trip to the store.

it depends how responsible u are but when i was 13 i stayed home alone but probably end of 12 or beginning of 13 hope i helped!
