My job is requesting that i bring a doctors note after being sick from the flu, but i did'nt need to visit a doctor i was being taken care of by my family....what should i do, there saying that i have to have a doctors not i don't even have a doctor.

This guy has offered me half the stash from a raid on a mens outfitters for keeping him in my wine cellar till the heat cools down.My only worry is a bottle of vintage white from 79 which I was keeping for my birthday, which was yesterday.He likes to drink alot and I'm not sure I trust him.

My step-son wants a 9mm to carry when he goes hunting. He hunts with a rifle, but he was told that carrying a handgun isn't a bad idea when you're in the woods. He's 14 years old. Can he LEGALLY carry a hand gun? What if I bought it for him and was with him on the hunt? To me, this seems like an obvious no, but I just want some "ammo" to back up my belief. I'm moving out of my apartment--err, I did, yesterday. I lived there with two other guys for a year. Anyways, the landlord told me that he's missing rent for two months from Jordan, one of our "apartmates." Only him, those two checks. The landlord says he can withhold our security rent that we paid at the beginning of lease. We signed contracts individually, we paid rent individually, and we paid the security deposit individually. Can the landlord withhold all of our security deposits just because of one apartmate?

got divorced 6yrs ago ex-husband owes 15,000 in child support arrears in the year 2001 we filed a joint tax return at the time of seperation for 4 monts he gave me no support for our kids or household (bills,food,ect) well i got a phone call from h&r block after filing our taxes like about 2 weeks later so i gave him a call stated to him got the checks what do you want me to do he said sign them and deposit the checks and go pay all of our bills and get the kids what they need so i did that now that he owes me money he takeing me to court and states that hes been asking me for the past 4yrs and that i forged his name first of all ive always signed his name he told me to and if i was trying to take the money why would i call him and ask what he wanted for me to do and why would i deposit the money in the bank our bank together now hes saying i owe him 1,800 plus 10% intrest when theres never been a money judgment so what would be your opion on this
