Because "The War on Terror" is not a traditional war, antiquated methods of fighting are obviously not very effective. The Geneva Convention is good in alot of ways but very limiting for the current "war" we are fighting. I purpose that since the Geneva Convention is not being upheld by Muslim militants when engaging our military, it is usless to maintain. Why fight with your hands tied behind your back? Knowing that we are unable to engage hospitals, mosques, ambulances and civilians they are hiding behind each of these. They are not fighting "by the rules" why should we continue to give them an upper hand? By simply withdrawing from the Geneva convention, and any other global network that causes us to be held back we wouldn't have to worry about breaking their rules. Each and every soldier would have the freedom to use their own sense of when and where it is necessary to eliminate our enemies. Morality is indeed very important we should form our own rules. What do you think?

I had an injury and illness, then the hurricanes we had, and had to file ch7 bankruptcy.I didn't know about a hardship type. There's a government program that rewards teachers for each year worked in high risk/severely needed areas, and deducts off a student loan. My atty included my info in the papers and the judge granted a full discharge. The bankruptcy document says any creditor has to notify the court prior to it, if they have any objection; none did. Months after the discharge, the student loan company sent a payment booklet. I spoke with them, and they said they did recieve notice prior to the bankruptcy, and of the discharge, but they 'usually' don't have to contact the court'. They said I now have to prove the judge said this loan specifically was discharged. I asked the trustee, she said 'That's closed,if they're on the schedules, it's discharged'.They are.No creditors are listed individually.Idon't think the burden is on me to prove it's included. They are calling with threats

My husband and I obtained a loan for our house over two years ago. The payment was set for 783.00 and that included alot of things in escrow such as hazzard insurance, PMI, and county taxes. After a time the bank gave our loan to another mortgage co. who then told us that we had NOT been paying the PMI on our loan and in order to resolve it they raised our payments 1,189.82.
Because of such a dramatic increase in the payment it has been hard to meet those requirments. However, as I said before, the PMI had been figured into the original payment of 783.00. We recived no notice of intent to foreclose. We've talked to our lawyer about it and he thinks we should try and find another mortgage co and buy our house back when it actually goes to sale on the courthouse lawn. Any ideas? I really feel that the bank is at fault here. I know it's made it into the recorders office in the courthouse and to the Asociate court office. How can they do that without informing us?

"Personhood brings with it all manner of rights and protections."

"We humans understand the other great apes much more completely than was possible even a few years ago. We now know that chimpanzees, gorillas, bonobos, and human beings are all species of African great apes. Together with orang-utans, we are members of a slightly larger taxonomic group known as the great apes, or "hominoidea." Not only do we have a new understanding of our biological kinship with the other great apes, but we have also gained an awareness about their complex emotional and social repertoires. This knowledge brings with it an ethical and constitutional issue which is fundamentally important to the system of values which informs and animates our society and, hence, our law. That issue is whether we can, in good conscience, maintain the legal distinction between persons and nonpersons by drawing a bright line around human beings (and a few of their creations), to the absolute exclusion of all others."

Then another incident when the native american child lets another child use his crutches while he is resting and the other caucasian child is only standing with them at his sides the principal takes the crutches away because she says the boys were using the crutches inappropiately she makes the native american child hop without any assistance to the office and the caucasian boys do not get reprimanded do you think there is racial discrimination here? And if there is do I have a lawsuit and which type of lawyer should I look for?

I have raised him since he was 5 month old. He is now 20 months old. I am going through a visitation issue with my ex wife for my daughter. She will try to have my son taken away by saying I may harm the child. I am 50% rating by the VA and I am seeing a councelor every 3 months and I take medication to control my dreams. Could the state of AZ take away my son? Is there a website I could research this on?
