Do parents have to buy school supplies/school clothes for a student who is going to be in 10th grade and is only 15 years old with only a babysitting job. is there a law where parents have to?

Its not my kid, its my girlfriend. She has to buy everything for herself pretty much, whereas her parents will buy and do anything for her sister and brothers. And on top of all that, her parents expect her to pay them 250 dollars for a trip they sent her on for school, and she would have paid them back a long time ago, but since the new school year is coming up, she has had to buy her own school clothes and stuff.

Parents are responsible for their children when they are minors so yes. You can tell your 15 year old that they need to buy their supplies out of their own money, but if they don't, it's your responsibility to make sure they have what they need for school.

All parents are obligated to do by law is feed and shelter their kids. They need to provide reasonable clothing and necessary living items.

Sounds to me like your parents are teaching you some responsibility. Get used to it - when college rolls around, you are going to be on your own.
