Well i have one already but i got it in the UK. I would never be with any guy who had so little respect for woman that he would ever refere to one as a tramp, and i'm an atheist so it doesnt matter what the church thinks, as for my kids, well my mum has a tat and i would never think any less of her for it cause she's my mummy and i love her no matter what!

Actually is 18, and younger the parent has to sign a consent form. Oh, btw... I was thinking of getting one and was worried about the whole church thing. I e-mailed 10 churches and all but one said it was cool. :-)

Not an answer, but a comment. If I were you, I would rethink the whole tattoo thing. What happens to it when you're old? It sags and wrinkles. Do you want your kids to go do that to themselves? Also, do you know (this is fact) that guys call tattoos on girls "tramp stamps"? Just a few things to think about.

Not to mention, the Bible says not to do it. That would be enough for me.

I have always heard, any where in the USA the age is 18 years without your parents consent. If under 18 years you have to take a parent with you, and they have to sign a consent form.
