My son was born an American citizen to my fiance and I who are both British.

We are thinking about moving back to England with our son who is only 5 weeks old.

Do we need to make him a British citizen before we can live there or some kind of permanent resident card so he can live there?? Or does it make no difference since he is only a baby?

It is time The People, as recognized in the Constitution, not those simply living in the United States, should be able to say we want a President who will try his/her best to accomplish certain goals WE set.
What good is it to relate our desires to our Senate and Congress, such as illegal aliens, when the President can override the will of The People to reinstate the immigration amnesty bill he loves so well. It is not something working citizens desire, and it is not truly lawful to allow those who bear the law to change the law if the President favors them over his citizens. What faith can be given to these new laws, when we now have little to no faith of the current laws?
Will they really, no REALLY, arrest aliens as they should be arresting them now, or will it be status quo? At what point do The People relinquish their country as a product for the President to sell to aliens? When The People would be better off as aliens than citizens, how should we proceed in America?

My fiance was on a work visa and it ran out at the end of April. He had a 60 day grace period to try and figure out a way to stay.
His Mom spoke to one of the senators that works with the president and he told my fiance to stay and he would help us out and get his greencard through the system faster (it is supposed to be processed October 2008).
The thing is, we just had a baby on May 24 who is an American citizen (we are both British and I am not yet a citizen).
This senator didn't get back to us so we called and he said that he never told my fiance to stay and is calling us liars.
His Mom has already petitioned for him to stay three years ago and he can't get a work visa or anyone to sponsor him.
Now, he has to go back to England on June 30, which is only 5 days away. We have done everything right and not broken the law and nobody will help us. There illegal immigrants who are getting greencards and they dont deserve them and my family is being torn apart... is this fair??

I think so but tell me what you think.

And those of you who support amnesty and inviting 100,000,000 more, can you tell me why this is good and who will benefit from it besides the illegals who broke the law and the rich owners of corporate companies who benefit from cheap slave labor?

This is the end of America and it is not funny anymore!

Federal prosecutors indicted four Kansas City-area roofing companies along with nine owners and employees, alleging that they had participated in a scheme to bring illegal aliens into the United States, use them in their labor force and launder more than $6 million to pay them.
Authorities recently arrested six of the nine individuals named in the indictment and took an additional 34 illegal aliens into custody on administrative charges.
The scheme started when Hernandez-Bautista was arrested March 28, 2001, along with 22 other illegal aliens, by immigration authorities while they were working on jobs for Mid-Continent Specialists.
All of those arrested were deported to Mexico, except Hernandez-Bautista. He posted a $3,000 bond and changed his status to a lawful permanent resident. The indictment alleges, Evans and his company paid $11,000 to Hernandez-Bautista to smuggle the deported workers back.

According to the Wall Street Journal, 14 %of construction workers are illegal, that means of course that 86% of Americans do the rest. 17% clean motels, hotels, offices and homes, citizens do the rest. 23% work the fields, citizens do the rest. I think Americans will do any jobs, what do you think?

allowing the constant flow of illegal immigration to continue, rewarding them for breaking our laws, and bending over backwards to make sure their rights do not come into harms way, and to hell with us.
Diversity is wonderful, if it is done legally. This is not diversity, this is criminal.

I am a very open minded 56 year old retired teacher who loves all people, but I am sick to death of having to be bilingual to get a job. For God's sakes, we live in USA and our native language is Indian of course, but since then I believe English to be the main language. I have lived in a small OR town for 33 years, where the KKK began and so it has been very white up until the last 15 years, and that is fine, I love all races, but when I can't get a job of any kind, motel, hospital, dr office teaching anything that sometimes only takes 1/2 the IQ and experience I have because I don't speak Spanish something is wrong. You may not agree with this but how about when they add Russian and Swahili, and French and all those as is bound to be. How about if you can't text but you can type 100 wpm on computer. Discrimination , reverse discrimination, is not right !!! I want it changed and I will work on it until the day I die so tell me how to get our nation to adopt English

One of my friend in India received a lawyer suit for not paying the loans he owed to a finance company. He wants to get Indian passport for him. Does the lawyer's suit bring any problem in getting the passport? Should we state about that somewhere in the passport application? or how does it go?

Okay heres a question that I'd like to here back on from immigrants as well as americans. What is your opinion on saying the pledge of allegiance in schools. I use to stand for it when I was younger but stopped because I feel that standing and half assing my way through a poem about a flag and God really has to bearing on the fact that I am or am not patriotic. What do you think?

Please refrain from xenophobic comments. I am a patriotic person and have duel citizenship. I applied for my American citizenship on my own and did not receive it after a parent.
