because on the TX and CA border there really isnt a "Winter" 80-90-100 degrees in Dec isnt really a winter per say

The media uses whatever sounds the most pitifully for these people.
Remember most media is Pro Illegal!

It really wouldn't matter to them. They would probably cross in the summer because its easier for them. Which means probably its easier to get caught & deported back. Who cares, the border patrol will catch them no matter what condition its in.

who cares what time of year it is? it is still a violation of American law and they know it. Put up the wall, sharp shooters every 2-3 miles with excellent range - and no warning shots.
Their invasion has been enough of a warning shot for the lats 20 years.
