Where do I begin? Here's my experience: I grew up with 75% Hispanics (mostly Mexicans) in my schools. Of them, more than 60% were illegals themselves or anchor babies. (Yes, these stats are true). Overcrowded classrooms were the biggest problem.

They got free breakfast and lunch, while my parents paid for my lunch. They always spoke Spanish to each other and only hung out with their own. The biggest holiday celebration at my elementary school was Cinco De Mayo. Everything, including school events, pamphlets, etc was given in both English and Spanish.

In high school, there was a separate bungalow as a daycare center for the students' babies. 3 out of 4 were anchor babies of illegal aliens. How do I know they were illegals? Because I volunteered there. I did the paper work. And the taxpayers paid for this. Most of the pregnancies are planned, as one girl told me (we were around age 16) in broken English "My cousin just had a baby, I have to have one now, I'm the only one left in my group of friends who hasn't had a baby yet".

Aren't they supposedly here to better their lives? How is that possible when they start popping babies out in high school? Thus by the time they are 15 or 16, they were already learning to work the system. If they have a baby, they get free health care, free day care, and free food from WIC. It is from their own mouths that I learned about all the free things that they receive from the govt. They are the ones who told me.

In college (state university), all the illegals got in-state tuition rates. American citizens from another state would pay an extra $20,000 if they wanted to attend my college. They also received special tutoring so that they won't get behind in the classes. These special tutoring sessions, paid for by American taxpayers, were open to "underrepresented minorities" regardless of their legal status . (*Note underrepresented minorities include all ethnicities except Asians and white. Asians and whites were the majority at my college). You wonder, how did they get into college in the first place if they need our tax money to get extra tutoring? Yup, affirmative action or whatever they want to call it.

I live in Phoenix in Sunnyslope which has a high concentration of what are assumed to be illegals (I never ask for ID) and I moved here about a year ago from what is considered a high dollar area on Central. Nothing has changed bad or good. The traffic is a little better because there are not as many parents driving kids to school, my neighborhood grocery store carries stuff I have never seen before, other than that it is pretty much the same. I have not been affected at all.

Trashing a local swimming area that for years was used by locals to swim, picnic, take the kids...now it's avoided by the locals.
Draining our health resources and they do not pay for them.
Majority of "clients" at local health office are illegals with anchor babies.
Spray painting a church where an anti-illegal protest was held.
Majority of arrest reports and court appearances in local paper have latino names.
A neighbor who works at a plant about a mile away gets a paycheck each week, it's taxed.
The latino there all get an envelope filled with cash he says.
He has reported this he says.
I could go on and on.

Texas, we are the Battle Ground State, they have increased
Crime in areas they chose to live in. Not a day goes by that
you hear about some incident they are involved in. While a
lot of residents can merely move to more affluent sections of
the City. This in itself, is proof they are affecting legal residents.. Last week an illegal, was sentenced to 45 years in
Prison for the Murder of a single mom. They had to drag him
back from Mexico, where he was hiding. Don't believe the
Pr campaign. Illegals don't respect our Laws.

I dont live in a border state but there are illegals here. We hold a special sesson of 6 weeks of school in the summer time for migrant workers. They are not required to show papers to prove they are legal. They do not pay taxes here to help support the school district. Yet we have to bear the cost of an extra session as we pay the teachers and the cost of having the school open. Then the school district says money is tight and we have to cut programs. Our children are paying the price of a lesser education because of this. This is just one example of the way they affect us.

The stuff that ppl r saying is just where they live.
it really all depends on where u live.
And we would be paying taxes if we were legal, but some ppl just dont wanna share their country.
not everywhere is like that, just those places.
where i'm from, the majority of the population is mexican, they only come here to work, not bother anyone else. they're just trying to get by and feed they're family. And i think if u were put in that situation u would do the same thing too. U dont know how hard we have. theres people judging us ALL THE TIME. We're not stupid, we're human too. its a stereotype made by ignorate ppl.
we come here to get an education and get by with life and ppl being the way they are. I addmit that there are some mexicans that mess up & end up going to prison, but thats because u guys make us out to be that way.
But overall, mexicans come here for good, not to start sh*t like this.

High taxes due to the estimated $9 BILLION paid each year. Crowed freeways (on May 1st the freeways were great). Crummy cars on the roads with drivers that don't know how to drive - you don't drive in the fast lane at 60mph. We assume that they don't want to attract attention since they are driving without a drivers license and proper plates. Rude drivers.

Crowded schools with many not speaking English. Waiting hours in ERs due to the illegals using the hospitals for a minor things. ERs closing due to money crisis. High medical costs since their expenses are passed on to everyone else (our HMO premium is close to $600 for my husband and me - son is almost $200 per month)..

People not speaking English. Personally we get NUMEROUS wrong numbers since our 800# is close to a couple of companies for Spanish speakers.

Can't speak with some fron-tline people on the phone since THEY don't speak English well. They get really mad when we request to speak with someone else, due to communication problem. (We are polite about it - they are rude.)

We got robbed by an illegal. Gangs, drugs & other crimes are on the rise. Grafitti is EVERYWHERE!

REALLY LOUD "music" coming out of their cars (windows down). The bass shakes our car (windows up).

While it is really bad now, it would be worse if the illegals were granted amnesty.

We deal with racism, high crime, high taxes, our hospitals and schools are overwhelmed etc. It's a rarity to hear English and I feel like i'm not in the U.S. anymore.
We used to be one of the safest places to live in but after the invasion we are now rated third most dangerous in the country.

I have recently returned to my family home. The house was built by my grandfather, passed to my Dad, and now to me.
It was a great neighborhood at one time. Next door to me is a family that harbors several illegals in the small house behind them. They are all men. I have caught them looking over my fence. They make all kinds of lewd remarks. Across the street is a man with 2 strikes. He stands out in his front yard and harrasses the kids coming home from school. I cannot take my grandchildren to the park on the corner as it is full of gang members. My front wall is constantly being tagged.
I have to travel miles out of my way to find a grocery store that carries decent food. They have loud parties that go on most of the night. They set up sales in their front yards. The whole street looks like a swap meet. I have had mail stolen out of my mail box. My brothers car was set on fire. Property values have dropped harshly. I cannot sit on my front porch at night. There have been 2 drive by shootings in the past 2 months. There are police heliocopters flying over head almost every night. I have a large lot and there is a busy street nearby. They rob the smalls stores in there and hide in my backyard. There are no decent shops left. All cater to Mexicans. All the signs are in Spanish. I would sell, but it just irks me that I have to give up my family home that my ancestors worked so hard to make nice because of these people. This is what you have to look forward to.

They have turned Los Angeles into a filthy, violent hell hole. Funny how liberals always say Mexican culture is "vibrant". Proof that they can't think of anything positive to say. Life is cheap as dirt in their culture.
