One of the requirements of the Thai visa process to immigrate, is to get a letter from the local law enforcement agency, to see if you have any criminal convictions. I do not know if a misdemeanor will bar you from entry to Thailand call up your nearest Thai Embassy and ask. to visit on a 30 day tourist visa your record is not checked.
