Your Q -- "Is it just me or is Michael Moore the most patriotic man in America?"

My Opinion: Among well-known Americans, he's 'way ahead of whomever is in second place, in that regard. And GW Bush is at the very BOTTOM of that list.

I don't know if I would categorize Michael Moore as the MOST patriotic man in America but neither is he the least patriotic. He is an American excercising his right to free speech and informing the public on very important issues. This has been done by people from the beginning of our country using one form or another. In the earliest days newspapers and published essays were a common way to augment what one would put into a book. People often don't feel they have time to read an entire book on a subject and so if an article, essay, video or multimedia presentation can give them the facts with some supporting data they are satisfied. Those who wish to delve further can look into the books and do more research on the subject. Mr. Moore is simply putting together a presentation of some things he feels are important facts we,as citizens of a democracy, should be aware of. No body has to agree or disagree with him. That's the beauty of it. From what I have seen and heard it is something everyone should see whether you agree with Michael Moore or not going in. You may change your mind, or not coming out. The key with this, as with anything, is to have an open mind.

He is awesome. People just don't like him because he sheds light on the TRUTH, and most people don't want to hear the truth because they love to live in a naive little world. Everyone knows that the health care system in this country sucks, and now Michael Moore is just bringing to to the attention of the people who are actually willing to do something about it. Everyone else just wants to sit back and let other people make changes for them. This guy is actually getting out there and forcing a change in this issue. Whether you like him or not, he has a voice and he's patriotic because he cares. That's more than I can say for most people.

it is just you.......wait...no it's not...there's a whole mess of you out there....!!!!!......... won't someone please tell these people to get a life and take care of themselves without worrying about how well others have it?.......maybe we can get Michael Moore to make a "documentary" on the inability for "some" in America to take the initiative to make the American dream a reality for themselves instead of waiting for it to be handed to them....There's this song out..."Waiting for the world to change" by somebody (I don't care whom), that epitomizes the sorry state of youth and people in general today....waiting for the world to change instead of using the system in place to make it better...the system is there...sure, it's not perfect but it works, if you can make it. As far as Michael Moores "sicko" Who cares...those people need to get an education, get a better job and then they can afford health care.....a minimum wage job was never meant to be something somebody did for a career, it is meant as a stepping stone into a lifetime of work. I do not feel sorry for those that dropped out of school and did nothing to better themselves and now cannot afford to feed or take care of their ten kids....the only ones I feel sorry for are those that held a job and then got laid off and now cannot find work because the corporations have moved out of the US to be competitive in the global market...the ones that were contributing and did make themselves useful...those, I feel sorry for and yes there should be something in place for them.

Isn't he the one Larry King is dumping in order to interview Paris Hilton?

Well, It's not just you. He well may be patriotic in his intentions, but he sure angers a lot of people in the process! I guess it's a matter of prospective. If I was a troop overseas, I may not like him so much. Personally, I think he disguises his desire of money and fame as patriotism. The real decision is up to the individual.

It's not just you. There are 300 million Americans - it's statistically unlikely that you are the only one to hold that opinion.

I think it's just you that is the most patriotic man in America, because it sure as hell isn't Michael Moore.

I've heard that Moore is becoming less strident (i.e., less obnoxious), perhaps in an attempt to be more persuasive and to avoid being ridiculed so often. But nothing suggests that he is becoming more patriotic.

Moore is the most UNPATRIOTIC MAN in the world! He is such an @SS! Moore's propaganda is wrong and insulting!

His propaganda is so biased it has no legitimate value. It isn't a documentary because documentaries have facts in them.
