By this I mean the all the lovely ex pats who live in countries like Spain and are proud not to speak a word of spanish. You know the ones that open British theme pubs and serve british food. Or maybe Britain should have taken on the countries cultures of that they took over during the time of the british empire, instead of just getting them to join the British Army

Perhaps now its a bit hypocritical of us to expect any person from other countries who emigrate to us to follow our culture instead of their own. I mean we even complain if they speak english with a foriegn accent, but then you turn the tv on to Marbella Belles on a Tuesday night and see a woman who is proud, after living in Spain for 5 years, only being able to speak two words in Spanish. And mis pronounce them.

Seriously, the communist government of China has quadrupled it's economic capabilities through US out sourcing thus increasing the demand for oil. Sure our clothes and toys are cheap, but gas is now 3 bucks a gallon. As for Illegal immigration, sure our veggies are a couple cents cheaper but now we have to pay more in Taxes.

Let's open our borders...let whomever would like to come to this country, come in...and see how long it lasts.

Then we will finally know who is right and who is wrong on this whole debate...

Come on in...we won't even screen them....no need to check them out...(don't want to mess with their "rights")...no need to know where they are from...

Social services...you can have them too...we have MORE than enough money floating around in this country...

For all you anti immigrant history buffs.....Christopher Columbus "founded" the new land. (USA) Columbus was from Spain! His ships incase you all forgot where the Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria. All spanish names. So is it so hard to respect our founder by opening our borders to other cultures?

Would this mass murder had ended differently if some of the students had personal side-arm/weapons to protect themselves with?

I was born and raised in America, yes my ancestors came from other countries as like many others, but if you want to become American then you should go through the process like other immigrants, including all steps to become an American citizen, like learning the english language and learning about our country. So how many mexicans can say their pledge of alligience, they can't so why are we conforming to the spanish language, I don't recall our country having to conform to the German language or any other foreign language like we do the spanish. I am tired of living in little Tijuana when I live in America

All I ever hear about is the problems with Mexicans but they have never been a real problem here. We have had a rather nasty gang of Vietnamese here in Albuquerque…
Now this Cho Seung-Hui a South Korean goes and causes the deadliest mass shooting in US history…
To compound matters the UN wants us to start taking in tens of thousands of Iraqi refugees????
Okay so I know 99.999% of these people are good folks but isn’t time we rethink our Immigration laws?

I am adopted, and My only living relative,My brother Matt was sent over to the middle east on the USS NIMITZ. I miss him every day but I know he is doing the Job he loves. He always wanted to be a sailer, and he always went for his dreams...I want to believe that he will be Ok but everyday I turn on the news or flip open the newspaper, I read of another death caused by the war. I have no idea how long he will be in the middle east. I fear he will miss my wedding. How do I learn to deal with him being gone, and move on and live my life? Please HELP!

Yeah. I was thinking. This wall is just as bad as the Berlin Wall. We are keeping people out of our country. This leads me to say our FREE country. Whats so wrong with Mexicans? Why does everyone feel like we need to keep them out? Has anyone noticed that they're a major asset to our economy? WAKE UP!
