Why don’t we build a big wall at the border and send the Army and Marines to protect it?

LOL I told him I want to know the samething (as I’m dying with laughter inside). I keep this part of my life separate from my kids. I don't want them to think all Hispanics and Ceneral Americans break the law and all are illegal. When they are older I will explain the problem. Kids do not need to worry about this crap. I just thought it was interesting. He saw something on TV and asked me the above question.

So why doesn’t Bush and our lawmakers enforce the law and close all of our borders to ALL illegals?

I have a degree in interior design and hes a license eletrician. Would canada let him enter from the us side with just his passport? once we got there whats the easiest way to get jobs sponser and or become legal resident. I dont want to jump out of the fire into the frying pan. Any help would be appriciated. P.s we own our own buisness and two homes. I was told that would be important. thanks

I'm a Canadian married to an American guy. Currently living with my husband and waiting on my greencard. How long will I have to wait before I get my greencard?

Knowing I will have to wait 3 yrs before naturalization for U.S citizenship - what if I have my greencard by then and than things don't work out in the marriage and we end up splitting before the 3 yrs? How will this affect my green card status?

the marriage was great on the first couple of months but then after i found out that he met other girl first before me and he didnt chose her coz she has kids.my sister told me not to mind it coz at least he chosed me. but it kinda hurt to know that im only a second choice. and after two more months i started to see his real attitude that he always yells and hollers at me on the most shallow reasons. and hes not even taking me out for dinner or lunch.his daughter whose living with us with two kids, was the one in charge of buying the groceries and all the stuff needed in the house.after a while i felt like, were not gonna be able to eat without her daughter.coz his salary was just enough to pay his bills and debts.and then when i got a job he bought a truck and signed my name in there and i was paying it everymonth.but then i came to a point that ive felt so tired so i left him.now what im worrying about is that will he be able to deport me? and if yes,on what grounds?pls help.

Recently large demonstrations have taken place
across the country protesting the fact that Congress
is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.
Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely.
Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests. Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover
me in your house, you insist that I leave. But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors. I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working
and honest (except for when I broke into your house).
According to the protesters:
You are Required to let me stay in your house
You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan
You are Required to Educate my kids
You are Required to Provide other benefits to me & to my family

No country on earth has had, continues to have, or would tolerate the overwhelming number of immigrants we see annually.

People from all over the world seek the freedom and opportunity this country affords them.

They choose the United States over all the other countries on earth from which they have to chose.

How many people want to immigrate to Iran? China? North Korea?

Immigration is a basic human freedom to move freely in this world. This planet belongs to all forms of life and just as nature roams and migrates, so does humans. Walls have never stoped anyone from going to where he wants to get to. Even prison walls have failed to keep them in.

Why is it that Americans live in so much fear they feel they have to own a gun to protect themselves. I know it is a constitutional right but I would have to question the the need to arm myself in such an affluent free society?
