if my income is us$26,000 for last 3years ,is it sufficient to sponsor one immigrant?
if it is not sufficient my joint income with my spouse is $39,000
does she have to sign I-864A form.I filed IRS as joint income. I had one depandant last year.This current year 2007,she is no longer my dependant.

You are making more than enough to meet the 125% poverty guidelines (for the US).

I know a lady who sponsored (Fiji Islands) her mother and her father, she makes around 50,000 a year I would guess that your 26,000 would be sufficient for one people Get the form it tells you on there how much you have to earn.

Sufficient income is an advantage for sponsoring an immigrant because it means that you could finance his expenses.

You may have to get a co-sponsor.
