Our President and Congress, State Legislatures, Counties, and City Governments have declared the USA lost as a nation and systematically turning over our rights and political control to foriegn powers without the consent of the American population.
Do you vote? If not, shut the hell up and do what your told. If you do don't expect to for very long. When foriegn powers tell Congress what laws to pass and States what rights they have, wether on the border or not, you can take your voter's card and wipe your butt with it.

If extraterrestrials were of a mind to invade and destroy mankind, don't you think that they could have done so by now> If you look at history, you will see many instances of tyrannical dictatorships subjugating their subjects. Nazi Party, Communist party, China, Rwanda. The colonists were in a fight to get rid of a tyrannical government, and the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution provided for the overthrow of a government that was destructive of its people. A government gone mad is not an invention, but a historical fact, over and over again. Our Socialist Great Leader is well on his way to creating just the kind of government our Founding Fathers feared and despised. Those of us who recognize the signs are prepared to defend the sheeples who say it can never happen.

More specifically, the commander in chief is supposed to protect us.
The US has never in it's history posted the military along a border to protect from invasion of immigrants. We've always embraced people immigrating to the country, until the immigration reform act in the early 1900's when we severely restricted immigration from all over the world.

Only when its not off invading other countries that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the U.S.A. The military job is to protect our shores and borders - not attack other sovereign nations. -RKO- 04/19/07

Maybe back in the early history of the country, but now there is a broader role. #1 To invade the US would require such
large numbers of men, equipment and supplies. #2 There
is such a great distance to any natural enemy. #3 Fighting
on this foreign soil would be so costly financially, I dont know of any country that could sustain such an engagement.
Since our resourses are so great, we as a nation, the birth place of true freedoms, we have no problem helping other to
defend themselves from hostile invaders, dictators and and now civil unrest.

Apparently, we don't have the money to protect us from creatures in outer space. We are spending over half of our budget on Iraq, and the rest, well, who knows where it goes. We are screwed if a UFO comes to the US.

The answer is no. A military invasion, yes. A migration of people, no. There are departments such as the Border Patrol, Homeland Security, and the like that cover the borders. The military was and is designed for national DEFENSE, not national oppression.
We have enough oppression in this country already, and you want to roll the Abrahms tanks to the border? Give me a break!!!
