Do you mean that she won the DV Lottery, but is in the US at this time for another reason? If so, she is allowed to adjust status based on her DV win, and get her green card - unless she has been there illegally for long enough that she is inadmissible or else ineligible for a visa.

She has the right to work at the job she was supposed to already have before she was approved for legal entry and pay taxes. If she does not work at that job, she must notify the Immigration authorities.
If she is not working she must notify Immigration authorities.
She has the right to support herself, pay rent, pay her bills and stay off of welfare.
If she applies for public assistance from the US government or any US state, she has the right to be deported back to her own country.

only the ones she works for and the ones that her relatives died for, ya know like my relatives did. She might want to consider another country because there's gonna be a civil war here soon. Immigrants in the early years were greatfull and treated us with respect. Now they push, shove and place demands. When samali's were told that benefits would shrink due to a lack of revenue they thanked the mayor of biddeford maine by threatening to sue, benefits were re-instated. Check any laundramat in the us. The foreigners throw their crap all over the place. A large number of us are really pissed off.
