Did anything change with the immigration rights? Im not talking about the fence.
Many people think that immigrants live in U.S without paying taxes, and live on other peoples money. That is not true. They live like everybody else, except they struggle lot more in everyday life.

I can't go to Mexico for a better life so why does Mexico get to come here? Spare me the crime sermons. Yes I have money. But there my rent would be cheaper, gas, fuel cheaper. Why can't I just walk across the border pick a spot and live there without any problems like their people do here. Mexico has double standards.

"The party wants to manage immigration by only allowing those who will benefit the economy to come to Britain, with the overall number limited by the capacity of public services and other infrastructure.

"We are saying: look at the economic benefits of migration, make sure we make the most of them, but then actually have a limit which is set according to the pressures of health and education and housing. That’s sensible politics," he told BBC television."

What a novel idea! That could be applied to the US as well!

What do you think?

I saw this article in People magazine today, but I looked it up online in case you aren't able to look in the magazine.

Don't worry, it's not a long read. Check out the following link, and let me know your opinions on the story. Do you think he was in the wrong? Is the fear of being deported worth taking someone's life?

Most of the "anti-illegal immigration" Senators and Congressmen lost, and liberal Democrats won. Face it, many Americans don't give a rats a.ss about illegal immigration, and only care about the Iraq War. Most Americans tolerate Mexicans, and people here in Yahoo are just plain racist and bitter about life in general.

and Americans can't be bothered to fix Mexico, how come the Mexicans aren't fixing Mexico? Don't they do all the jobs we won't?

I realize this is a logical fallacy, but this board is so full of inane arguments, I figured one more wouldn't matter either way.

Woohoo.

And this is an immigration question:

It seems this restaurant tried to stop this Mexican restaurant from IMMIGRATING into a shopping mall it was in by invoking its exclusive right to sell sandwiches there. The judge said a burrito is not a sandwich so this was LEGAL IMMIGRATION.

Everyone in the world, everyone in the right mind, except the US, knows it's the Northamerican Invasion.
How do you think Texas was "won". The real word should be stolen.

The US criticizes those enganging in Imperialist wars, but attacking a country which just finished a bitter independence struggle is very hypocritical.

Look at the facts, Mexico fought for 11 years (1810-1821), Texas was stolen in 1836, and the "Mexican-American War" occured just 10 years after. But the gold in Mexican territory had nothing to do with that, right guys?

Mexicans will get our due share. I for one, am.

It's basically an opinion question about what made your ancestors more rightful to immigrate than those trying to immigrate now?

If your heritage is Native to the north american continent, I already know and understand why, but you can still answer!
