I can't go to Mexico for a better life so why does Mexico get to come here? Spare me the crime sermons. Yes I have money. But there my rent would be cheaper,gas,fuel cheaper. Why can't I just walk across the border pick a spot and live there without any problems like their people do here. Mexico has double standards.

I do think the Military should be used to protect ALL of our borders. We have enough internal problems here already; so we should start protecting ourselves even more. I fear terrorists coming in from the borders; so our Military should be there to make sure that doesn't happen. And it would also stop people from entering this country ILLEGALLY.
To answer your question about why you can't go to Mexico and just 'pick a spot there without any problems' is b/c they are VERY smart. They DON'T allow people from other countries to just 'make themselves at home' without contributing to society. So I say it's time for the United States to take that EXACT stand for our own country. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Yes it is past time for the military to step in.
Anyone with eyes can see the Border Patrol are overwhelmed and can't get the job done.
If you went into Mexico illegally you would end up in one of their jails if not worse.

Military should guard the boarder and shoot anyone not ctrossing at the crossing sights. Mexico uses its military to guard its boarder on the other side of Mexico (i know because I travel thatr area all the time) but yest Mexico objects to the USA if the notion of Military comes up.....why ......what s good for the goose is good for the gender.................

hm mm lots of military on public streets with no end in sight sounds like martial law----nope sorry not gonna happen and if it does then I guess democracy dies.
I do think that the federal government needs to spend OUR TAX $$$ HERE instead of everywhere but here.
If you are here illegally then ship them out --but I do not want to have to identify myself at military checkpoints sorry but my freedom is to important to give up.

Our military should be here, protecting our country @ the boarders; but instead, they are in Iraq (where they are not wanted)!!! It pisses me off!!!
