Ok so I see alot of people on here saying Latin pride, viva Mexico.

Do you feel it's racist to say Latin pride?

What about white pride?

Why the double standard?

Do both of us have to either pick which country we want to retain citizenship of? Or do we acquire dual citizenship to both the US and Canada? I will be moving and working in the US with her. Am I even eligiable for US citizenship, or do I automatically recieve it upon marriage? I'm lost in these matters, any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I'm planning on travelling to the States to stay with my boyfriend for a while. I'd like to know if I'll just need a passport, rather than a Visa, as I won't be working in the States while I stay. I would like to bring a bunch of stuff with me, like clothing, my cat, and a bunch of belongings. Will this be okay? How long can a Canadian citizen stay in the States without a work Visa, and also, will I be able to travel back and forth back into Canada (should there be a family emergency or something like that)? We are planning on getting married, but not within the 90-day period that a fiancee Visa requires (we'd like to stay together for a few months first to "try it out"), and I would like to have this visit go as smoothly and properly as possible in terms of crossing the border. The information on the internet is so confusing and inconsistant, I would love some advice. Thanks so much! :)

Also looking for information about when the majority of overseas workers came to the UK, i.e the pakistanis and Indians and also Afro Caribbean.
Why did they come over? Did the British Government promise them jobs?

Would this not be a better solution than a. letting people in but not having jobs for them so they are supported by the welfare state and b. letting/not letting them in on a nationality basis (ie Australians can get working visas easily for the UK whilst Indians, for example, can't)? For instance, you could visit a country on a tourist visa and if you could prove you had found a job there you could stay. (Of course asylum seekers are a different matter and would still be allowed in without the job offer).

I worked in Australia (I'm British) and found the system ridiculous as I couldn't legally work unless a company sponsored me (which is a big commitment for any company). But anyone can get round this by registering with a (legitimate) private agency set up to offer sponsorship to foreigners with a job offer (at a cost).

A young woman, brought to this country illegally from Mexico years ago as a child, married, divorced, has two teenagers in school in Califonia. Visiting relatives a few months ago in a southern state was stopped on a traffic stop, arrested and held all this time. They now say they will deport her (or remove her). Her lawyer is ineffective - not cheap - even bad lawyers are not cheap. Children are citizens but not over 21 and cannot help by sponsoring their mother as a relative (as I understand the law). What can a person who knows her and can give her a job (she had a job in California but lost it obviously for nonattendance because she was hundreds of miles away in jail. My grown daughter has befriended her - she is a good person. How could we, or someone who is willing to "sponsor" her help. What does that entail and how must one qualify? Are there any "good" lawyers, or better informed people out there who can tell me this? I

While our boys are DYING in Iraq to keep our country safe from TERRORIST?

Should we tell him and our corrupt politicians they better close the border so TERRORIST don't blow something else up like they did the Twin Towers and kill thousands of Americans?

During 2005 as many as 19,500 TERRORIST were smuggled into Mexico then smuggled across the U.S. border into the United States.

It's all right here in this report, do you think we should send President Bush a copy?

We need a day that we as Americans can show the ones in Washington and the Businesses that we want Illegals out of our country. A day that we stay home from work and display our dismay in the streets in a peaceful manner that we do not want Amnesty for People who break our laws. We should also on this day not do business with anyone who hires these people.
I am sick to death to see what has happened to this country.
I have traveled all over the country and can tell you our Government has fail to do what they are bound by oath to do.
More and more places of business are putting up Bi-lingual signs to cater to the Spanish Speaking people in our country ( Lowes is the latest )
I suggest that we as True AMERICANS select a day and Spread the word about a day without an American.
THE MESSAGE WE MUST SEND!
NO AMNESTY, ALL THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS IN OUR COUNTRY MUST LEAVE, COMPANIES THAT HIRE THEM BE FINED. ENFORCE THE LAWS WE HAVE ALREADY.
WE CAN MAKE OUR OWN BURRITOS!

I don't think so but the people who set these fires are rather warped. Lots of you guys want to talk about the crimes committed by Hispanics but you want to downplay instances similar to this when a Hispanic gives his life defending the state and country that he loves. READ FOR YOURSELF

I kind of do, especially Republicans who were using illegal alien bashing to get votes, and then turn around and hire illegals for their businesses.

hey guys

OK here goes. I come over to the USA on a HB2 working visa only valid for about 3 months I jumped the visa . I only got it to get into the country Cos i have a boyfriend here in the states We were suppose to get married asap but the lawyer said to wait cos it will be suspicious, My visa expired 8 months ago and still not married. I am getting worried. I hate being illegal and worry all the time. I miss my family and my friends back home. I talk to him about it and still nothing i do love him but i guess i have to take matters into my own hands. So i cant wait for him to marry me to get legal i think he is satisfied about the living arraingments and the fact that i am here now and feel no need for him to get married i think his selfish not to see my point of view in this..
How do i go about a backup plan? how do i get legal myself ? Any advise will be so much appreciated.
