Does anyone else but me think that the recent immigration issues in the US are just a way to get people pissed off about something besides the Iraq war? I mean just a few years ago no one really cared about immigration and now everyone seems to think the world will come to an end if we don't stop illegal immigration. If you actually do real research and stop listening to all the propaganda you would know that our economy is pretty much based on it and the immigrants help a whole lot more than they hurt. If you just take outsourcing for example think about the millions of jobs that are sent to other countries or the insane tax cuts the corporations get I think there are allot more important things we should be doing instead of worrying about the illegal immigrants, I mean if it is really that bad don't you think our all controlling government would just stop it all together?

We love our children, they give us the security we need, we grow togeather. I notice most Americans think they must watch each child like a hawk and instruct their every move. because of this control issue they tend to have less children.

Im moving with to living with my husband, we have a two year old daughter.

How do you meet people in a new country? Im a little worried about being isolated as my husband works away for months at a time.

The people paying undocumented workers are the real problem, if you don't stop them nothing else matters. And the worst part is its Americans that are choosing to hire them over citizens.........When it comes down to the individual citizen or individual company our money is more important to us than our country or community, Wal-Mart proved that.

That it's impossible to round up all the illegals and send them home? It's not hard to find them and every one knows they hang on the street corner waiting for contractors to pick them up. I think it would, less renters, less compition. Also I have seen what some illegal immigrants have done to rental properties, so there would be less upkeep on properties.

That a perspective renter has a right to be in this country? Like a temporary work visa or some other paperwork that demonstrates a persons right to be in the country? I think this may work and cut down on the number of illegals in this country, what say you?

Don't give an answer like "deport them" because obviously that's not going to happen. There's no way this government is going to pay for there deportation. There needs to be a reasonable solution because no matter how much you say to deport them it's not going to happen.

Since some Americans think that Thanksgiving is a racial or patriotic day, should it be canceled since someone might get killed if they are celebrating Thanksgiving to. Shouldn't Thanksgiving be for everyone, invite everyone to enjoy the holiday. Even the illegals.

by cities hassling hard working immigrants dont they realize that in the long run it would actually help them, immigrants would centralize in cities that offer santuary and take those jobs with them, it would also lead to them building stronger latin communities, with politicians that cater to theyr communities, one way or the other theyr here to stay, so dont be surprised when your son or daughter bring one home hahahahaha

Why are so many people supporters of illegal immigration? Statutorily it is against the law to enter the US without inspection. Why do people want to rewards illegal immigrants by granting amnesty? I don't get it. Also you can't compare illegal immigration with a speeding. Does not make sense!
