That it's impossible to round up all the illegals and send them home? It's not hard to find them and every one knows they hang on the street corner waiting for contractors to pick them up. These are not great examples but: Hitler did it to the Jews, Jackson did it to the Indians. What makes you think this can't be done? I think it will

Ike did it very successfully in the fifties ... if it could be done then, of course it can be done now, what is lacking is the will to do it!!

It's just a way to discourage us. McCain said last year that deporting the illegals wasn't going to happen, so we might as well forget about it... RIIIIGHT! Like we're just going to give up because some scumbag says that the subject is "off the table"!
What these idiots don't seem to understand is that there is NOTHING that we can't do, particularly when our back's against the wall. I still haven't figured out how people can underestimate us so badly all the time. They force our hand, then after we clean house, the tears start...

They could do it if they wanted to. If you can put a man on the moon you can certainly fill up busses and drive over the border or fly people home across the ocean. Can't......not a word typically used by Americans. It wouldn't be overnight but it could be done. Our economy would not go to pot. Keeping those borders open and not enforcing our laws is doing far more damage to this country than shipping illegals back home.

you are correct in the fact that it is not difficult, but no one has the balls to initiate such a program and endure all the b*tching and moaning that would go on while it was happening.
This country would survive just fine. The fact that illegals think they are a necessary part of this economy because they provide UNSKILLED labor is a joke. The greedy companies will take a hit and be forced to run more efficiently rather than hire illegals for slave wages.
It would be a profound change, but in the end, this country would be a much better place.

They also need to change all immigration personnel who will take action once they are reported. Many years ago we had an abandoned house in the small town we lived in and near a railroad track. We found out there was 15 illegals occupying the house and we called immigration, want to know what they told us?If theres not a bus load of them we dont pick them up.

Amen!! But to put people who want illegal immigrants out of the country should not be referred in the same as Hitler or Jackson. It is not the same but I do see your point that it can and should be done.
And as far as being rounded up I think I know how to, and do not have a problem with , showing my driver's license, passport, or birth certificate.

It would be nice if it were done, but now there are too many latinos judges and others in a power position that would probably block it. It happend in the Escondido rental ban which was suppose to start a few days ago.
but yes, i agree, round em up and bus em out!

That's the easy illegals that you are talking about. What about the illegals that have been in the country for 10+ years, speak good English, and have forged documents? Those make up a sizeable quantity of illegal immigrants.
In the end, you will not be able to simply go round them up, as this society is too big and too open to do that. No one will stand for police rounding up people like Germany in the 30's.

You suggest that we act like Hitler? Wow! What a statement.
Just because someone hangs around waiting to be picked up for work does not make them illegals.... even if they happen to be Latino. Do you suggest they just round them all up and sort it out later? What about the U.S. citizens in the group? What about their individual rights?
I gotta say.... I'd rather not and have the problem than do that and we ALL have a problem of loss of freedom in our own country!
I really love the guy above who talks about immigrants being "retarted".... I'm sure they are not that RETARDED and unable to afford an education.
Best Wishes,
Sue

Big Super makes a good point. A lot of them will escape justice. But that should not stop us doing this and getting rid of those who cannot even organize fake documents for themselves.
