Hispanic newborn found discarded in dumpster

A woman looking through trash cans found a newborn boy with a bag over his head in a trash can in San Juan Capistrano, Calif., Tuesday. --- In addition to the bag over his head, the boy also had a trash bag tied into a knot around his neck, according to authorities. -- The baby, a Hispanic male, was apparently born full term. He weighs 6 pounds, 3 ounces and is 18 inches long.

[KNBC News reports that the infant was found by a 71-year-old dumpster diver who recently arrived from Mexico City.]

Politicians are supposed to represent the people's will. They aren't doing it. The majority of Americans do not want amnesty but special interest groups are getting their way with most issues.

What do you think the people will do if amnesty is given to illegals? Will they take action right away or passively wait for the next election?

I’m married to a Muslim man who's from Africa. I recently was at the video store and decided to rent United 93. He stated that he DID NOT want to view the movie. He loves action/violience so I know that's not the problem. He claims that the terrorist were "bad people" but he's never been outraged or anything by what occured on 9/11...so...? This is starting to bother me. Anyway, if you were in my situation how would you perceive his resistance to viewing this film?

A Russian girl was married to her first US husband, then recieved a 2 years resident card, then bailed out of the marriage & filed for divorce(yet not divorced). 90 days before her 2 years card had expired, she filed for a permanent card (I-175)& to remove her conditional status, but was denied by the INS cuz she did not have enough proof of good faith marriage with her husband. Her 2 years card had expired 1.5 years ago, so now she is Illegal in the US. She plans(after she gets divorce from her first US husband) to marry a second US husband and apply again to the INS. What is ur opinion ? Would she be allowed to remain in the US while filing for a new marriage visa status with a new US husband ? What would her status be legally under all these facts ? Thanks

During a class discussion in Social studies, my teacher brought up the point that maybe illegal immigrants are being used as scapegoats for are Nations problems. I think she has a valid point.

Now, I am not saying that illegal immigration isn't a problem (in fact, I am still examining and trying to figure out if it is) But, I think it is highly exagerated.Like any country, The USA is has problems, but, who wants to blaim their own selves. And the Governement most certaintly does not want to blaim themselves, so blame is placed on the illegal immigrants.

You don't have a job? Oh, some illegal immigrant has it, neverminnd the fact it is a little sad that an illigal immigrant can get a job but you can't. Besides, they usually occupy lower paying dirty jobs. Taxes go up? Oh, its the illegal immigrants using your money for welfare. Nevermind that it could be the GOVERNMENTS fault, wars are expensive you know.

I am not saying illegal immigrants are not their, and I am not saying

Yes it is and most for those immigrants that not only on this day thank GOD for the blessings, but everyday. Most Americans thank GOD for the Turkey and food on the table on that day, for immigrants its the food, health, work and family they enjoy everyday. They also thank GOD for the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

I have mostly European and some Native American heritage.

Thanksgiving is to celebrate when the Colonist and the Native Americans came together to work together. Yeah, things got bad, things changed, but we celebrate the good, not the bad. It is a American tradition, you don't like it fine, but don't spread your lies, or anti-American propaganda against something that is honest. Just leave us alone. In fact do every one a favor, and just get back to Mexico, because you don't like it here, and we don't like you.

This was started by illegal immigrants when they came to this country without any paperwork or authority. The shared a meal with the people they then took land from and killed them with comunicable deceases and weaponary brought from Europe. Just when you thought you are legal, you find that your ancestors where not only illegal but also criminals. If the truth hurts, sound off and let me know.

Many tried to deny the historical fact that when the first Thanksgiving celebration took place in the Americas, Mexican ancestors where not only the majority but actually the only people present. How is this so you may ask? Well you had Native and Spanish .And Spanish plus Indian equal Mexican.
This is Historical and Cultural fact. Can you dig it or do you need more help ?

Mexico brings in 40,000 Guatemalan guest workers each year, and when you ask the big coffee growers in Chiapas why they don't hire local people because the unemployment rate is high, they say they won't work hard. They're irresponsible, you can't count on them, the same thing that growers say in this country about Americans."
