Many tried to deny the historical fact that when the first Thanksgiving celebration took place in the Americas, Mexican ancestors where not only the majority but actually the only people present. How is this so you may ask? Well you had Native and Spanish .And Spanish plus Indian equal Mexican.
This is Historical and Cultural fact. Can you dig it or do you need more help ?

Here's a little History lesson:
1598 Juan de Oñate explored the area north of the Rio Grande, reaching Missouri and Nebraska. He founded San Gabriel de los Españoles, today Chamita, New Mexico. He became New Mexico's first governor, ruling until 1608. Oñate was at the head of a great expedition composed of 200 soldiers and colonists and 7,000 head of livestock (cows, horses, s On April 30, near El Paso, a mass of Thanksgiving was celebrated followed by a great banquet. This was perhaps the first Thanksgiving dinner in the United States. In the banks of the Río Grande

Miss blue steel, certainly it is not the same thanksgiving you celebrate.Thats because the one I'm referring to was to thank God , the great Spirit, not the Satan you worship as evidenced by your evil dark agenda you carry against people darker than yourself.

embitterd people who are incapable from distinguishing an individual from a group. I's sorry it make you madd that I belong and am accepted on both sides of the border and by the people I care about.,

All or at least most of what you say may be well & true but you forgot one important fact. Mexico sold their rights of possesion to all lands north of the Rio Grande to the U.S. We didn't steal it.

An American is just that! An American. It matters not whether he / she was born here or where they originally immigrated from. Any immigrant, by becoming an American citizen, takes an oath of loyalty to this Nation and gives up all loyalty to any foreign country. Otherwise you are not a true American, you lied when taking the oath, and should be stripped of your citizenship. If you are not a citizen then leave if you don't like it. But don't try to tell me that we owe you because a bunch of Spaniards/ Mexicans inhabited the Southwestern U.S. before it became part of our country.

I think you are missing the whole point of Thanksgiving. We aren't giving thanks to any individuals or cultures but to take one day out of the year to stop and think about all the good that's come our way the past year and be grateful. And yes, I'm grateful to the Native Americans for the help they gave the pilgrams. Happy Thanksgiving!

So mexicans are halve European we all know this. but not all American Indians tribes got alone with mexican Indians. Because mexican Indians were coming over to steal horses and women from the American India tribes.
Just another example of mexicans stealing from native American Indians

Mexican (derivative of the word mestizo)is a mix of the Taino native, the Omec and Aztec native,African, and Spanish. This is all true, but I have better things to do than type an essay about it....so I guess you'll have to look into it.

Again, you bring shame upon your people from both sides of the border. Do you sincerely believe all whites, all americans are evil? If you do, you should look inside yourself first.

I have mostly European and some Native American heritage. Thanksgiving is to celebrate when the Colonist and the Native Americans came together to work together. Yeah, things got bad, things changed, but we celebrate the good, not the bad. It is a American tradition, you don't like it fine, but don't spread your lies, or anti-American propaganda against something that is honest. Just leave us alone. In fact do every one a favor, and just get back to Mexico, because you don't like it here, and we don't like you.

It is more Cultural than Historical fact, you must have been told this so you would feel important. Where did you find this crap anyway the La Raza web site? I looked in all the History books and there is no reference at all.

I don't know why. Like why can't people understand the difference between 'immigrating' and 'trespassing?'

Who cares about history? In today's America, it does not matter. What matters is that those ill mannered border jumpers called illegal aliens need to be deported and no amnesty for them either.

That isn't the thanksgiving that we celebrate in the US.

No matter how factual it is, it still isn't the holiday that we celebrate here.
Can you dig that or do you need more help?
