A lady wrote the best letter in the Editorials in ages!!



It explains things better than all the baloney you hear on TV.

Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.

Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely. Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests.

Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave. But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors; I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house).

According to the protesters, not only must you let me stay, you must add me to your family's insurance plan, educate my kids, and provide other benefits to me and to my family (my husband will do your yard work because he too is hard-working and honest, except for that breaking in part). If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my right to be there.

It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and
I'm just trying to better myself. I'm a hard-working and honest, person, except for well, you know.

And what a deal it is for me!! I live in your house, contributing only a
fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of selfishness, prejudice and being an anti-housebreaker. Oh yeah, I want you to learn my language so you can communicate with me.

Why can't people see how ridiculous this is?! Only in America....if you agree, pass it on (in English). Share it if you see the value of it as a good smile. If not blow it off along with your future Social Security funds, and a lot of other things.

It seems nowadays we should are being told by the media and the government that we should be ashamed of being white because of the tiny minority who are (wrongly) racist? How come we rarely, if ever, hear of race hate crimes against white people? It's not like they don't happen! It's like freedom of speech didn't even happen! We are being told (in scotland) not to have Christmas decorations in our places of work so as not to offend other religions - it's completely ludicrous! Yet nothing was done when thousands went out in the streets of London on 9/11 and celebrated...???

Because they lose the argument, they call you racist. And now, when a town like Farmers Branch recognizes that the federal government has failed us and decides it is time for action, it is tagged as a racist town. And worse, the supporters of illegal immigration and no borders give us this plan:

When someone does not like what you post, they report you. What you write might not be in violation of community guidelines yet you are still reported in order for other members to censor you. Your question or answer is then removed by Yahoo!.

I have been in contact with the corporate offices at Yahoo! which is investigating this allegation of mine. I have sent them proof. I will let you know the results of the investigation if you contact me through my handle. Only members who I know will get a response from me and pods will not be answered.

Question: Would the individuals who are affected by this want to know the results so that they can take similar action?

My boyfriend is an American Citizen and i'm here, in USA, with a J1 visa, ie. non-immigration visa,in a cultural exchange program. My program will end in like 3 months, and i was wondering if i can apply for a fiancee visa from here, instead of going home and applying from abroad.( my visa doesn't require a 2-years home stay).

whining and complaining about everything? I mean undocumented immigrants at leat they take advantage of the benefits this country has to ofer and work hard to be part of this society. Unlike whinig lazy Americans all they do is just complain, complain, and complain. Arrogance and laziness is whats bringing this country down. Undocumented immigrants on the other hand, keep those mini sticker on some few products that say "Made in the U.S.A." rather than a country full of crime against humanity like China that employs children for 12 cents an hr.

Why do you hate on me and Alberto and other people like us? We are citizens and being a citizen gives of freedom of speech. So if a citizen of this country doesn't agree with you, you're gonna tell us to get out? Make us. By the way you are racist. And Racism doesn't fly well with most educated Americans. really that big of a deal to our economy? What are some examples of things they could be spent on instead? Are there really poor Americans Going WITHOUT because these dollars are spent on illegals. I would love to see links on actual poverty stricken homeless Americans that can not get help because they were turned down and an illegal alien was favored. Any one got any links on actual Americans suffering in the streets dying with no health care because illegals are favored? Or links showing what our tax dollars could really be buying if they weren't shed on illegals?

Someone posted in one of there answers before that the IRS cannot turn in an illegal immigrant know matter how they were discovered. So that leaves them free to just use someone elses ss#? Becasue they were obiously using someone elses ss# if the IRS discovered them. Unless it was through an employer.

My friend whose fiance resides in Italy wants to marry her there but is afraid of the red tape and does not know the procedure or who to contact in that regard. We do know that he can bring her to the United States with the 90 day fiance visa and within 90 days they will be married. We do know that the 90 day fiance visa is probably less complicated but we would like to know about how he could get married in Italy with her. Any ideas on who to contact, possibly the US Embassy in Rome?

seems poeple try to insult the people who only want to know there own language of where they live, why is that? is it because we dont care to sh!ts about a second language from a country who cant take care of themself so need to come over and break the laws of our country then want us to learn there sh!t?there are many things i could say here but this one mainly goes out to the no second language.
