When someone does not like what you post, they report you. What you write might not be in violation of community guidelines yet you are still reported in order for other members to censor you. Your question or answer is then removed by Yahoo!.

I have been in contact with the corporate offices at Yahoo! which is investigating this allegation of mine. I have sent them proof. I will let you know the results of the investigation if you contact me through my handle. Only members who I know will get a response from me and pods will not be answered.

Question: Would the individuals who are affected by this want to know the results so that they can take similar action?

"paulh" is so WRONG!!!!!!! The pro-illegal crowd report the rest of us for bull **** reasons!!!!! Such as,"not a question or answer",when it IS a question!!!!!!! Or,maybe they are NOT smart enough to figure that out??!!!!!!!

I am quite certain that I have posted things which were NOT liked by the questioner and I have yet to be reported, or at least be notified that I have been reported. From what I've seen the people that get reported USUALLY deserve it for racism, foul language, advocating murder, etc. Even if I was reported, I have more important things to worry about than what someone thinks of me on Yahoo! Answers, as I have "real" work to do. What you are saying may very well be true, but just because someone reports you, so what? Let them - if that's all that matters in their pathetic little lives, I pity them. Back to work!

Yes I certainly would like to know what the results are .
This has been the subject of much discussion on Yahoo Answers. Perhaps its because they and their like minded people cant stand the light of day being focused on the truth.I am anti any nationality immigration,I am against amnesty in any form,I am for HR4437,I am for closing our borders and I am for, identifying ,locating and deporting any one found to be in this country illegally.
I am not a racist, (I single out no race ,if you are illegal, you are a criminal and need to be deported)I am a realist and I live in an affected and infected border state and I see the problems and expense it causes everyday in my state AZ and my country.

i think you should post this in other categories as well. there is a huge problem with people being reported just because someone doesn't like their answer or opinion. i haven't been affected but i see it all the time with other users.

I don't know cause I reported some guy named fiasco because he said he was going to help illegals cross the border tonight. They never removed his answer even though he was talking about committing an illegal activity.

Yes, it would be good to know ... since most anti illegals are reported on a daily basis for absolutely nothing, or bombarded with filthy IMs or being harrassed in every conceivable way, it would be great to know what to do about it ....

Yeah. It happened to me yesterday, 2 times. I just wrote back to Yahoo and asked them why obscene material can be posted and be on for days , yet I get reported over something silly and immediately my answer is deleted.

I have had this happen to me. I asked Yahoo why and got no response on it.

We ALL get reported, as a matter of fact I got one this morning, I think all this stress over who reported and why is silly. It is a question answer forum.. nothing more, while is is mildly annoying to get a violation and we usually feel we did nothing wrong, WHO CARES, it doesn't effect our daily lives! And Yahoo.. this is my answer to this question. Thanks...
