No thanks, there's nothing wrong with pride in Heratige and there's a difference between heritage pride and national pride. Of course though, no matter what your legal status is now a days, if you're mexican you're illegal, funny.

A lot of people have love and pride for their homeland, but they leave because they will not have a descent life, and want to raise their family's where they can have a future... In Mexico, there's a lot of violence, and kidnappings... I'm not Mexican. I'm a born and raised here, and my family is from Cuba...

How about if you or your family were on the verge of starvation and there was no welfare system to turn to...how about you were living in a one room concrete block house with no running water or "facilities" or even a cardboard box? I don't blame people for having pride in their homeland and I sure don't blame them for trying to stay alive.

And I will just bet if any of you were in similar straits you would do the same.

My family came from the old country a century ago and I have pride and love for it and root for it in the world's cup. But I'm an American:) Don't fret about it. Within a generation or two, they'll be loyal Americans, just like my ancestors and most likely, unless you are a native american, just like yours.

Because they have a better life style here. And I've learned this from a friend, Not all Mexicans want to come here just the lower class ones.

Because it is easier to rob from your neighbor. If they choose to learn the language and assimilate then no one cares. It is the people who try to make the USA another country that people do not like. And of course you have the whole criminal aspect of things.One again I dislike criminals not people who do things legally

Probably because they can make a better life for themselves and their families if they come here to work in the United States.

because they can not get free health care food housing and all the other FREE things that American tax payers pay for
