FEAR TENDS TO LEAD TO HATE OF THE UNKNOWN. JUST AS IN ANY SOCIETY, THERE IS THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY. THE VAST MAJORITY OF THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS DO NOT COME HERE TO COMMIT CRIMES. FOR THAT, THEY COULD STAY WHERE THEY COME FROM AND SPARE THEMSELFS OF RISK OF DYING THE DESERT. IF YOU WOULD TAKE TIME TO LEARN FROM THEIR EXPIRENCE AND WHAT MADE THEM COME HERE YOU WOULD BE MORE SIMPATHITIC TO THE PLIGHT. IF YOU TOOK TIME TO VISIT A FARM THAT EMPLOY THEM, YOU WOULD SEE THE CONDITIONS THAT THEY WORK IN AND THEY DO IT WITH MUCH DIGNITY. IF THE PROCESS OF BECOMING A LEGAL IMMIGRANT WAS QUICK AND INEXPENSIVE, MOST OF THESE ILLEGALS WOULD BE LEGAL AND EARNING JUST AS MUCH AS YOU. FOR EVERY 10 ILLEGALS THAT CROSS THAT BORDER, 2 DIE IN THE DESERT. YES, THIS COUNTRY IS WORTH DYING FOR AND THESE ILLEGALS HAVE BEEN DYING FOR IT FOR A LONG TIME. TAKE TIME TO KNOW ONE AND EXCHANGE EXPIRIENCES WITH EACHOTHER.

I don't fear Illegals, I fear my government for not doing enough about the problem.
You must assume that all Illegals are Mexican. No Illegals crossing the Canadian border die in the dessert.
The process of becoming legal should never be "Quick & Inexpensive". The US cannot absorb the entire planet. It's easier to get in here and become permanent and employed than it is to do the reverse in Mexico. So what's the complaint!
Illegals do not "Die for" this country when they expire trying to sneak in. They die breaking the law for their own self serving motives.
Plenty of AMERICANS of Mexican decent have given their lives for this country, or have lived productive lives in it. Do not confuse the two situations.
If you don't like the conditions where you live, fix your own country, Your oil revenues alone could have turned the nation around by now.

a farm is no different then an American factory, which o work in. why should i feel different if they came here illegally? they broke a law and need to be punished for. it is already proven guilty so there is no trial needed there for it makes them a fugitive.
there so called hard farm work, i work in a 360 degree temperature job. i pull parts off an Assembly line, so does that make an illegal farm job harder then mine because they do it for so called $2-$4 an hour (which i know is a bunch of BS for the fact they still would not be here because then there situation is no different then the one at the own country) if it wasn't for the dumb illegals here we would still be making what we should our American people would be working and living the American LIFE. but instead we are stuck trying to compete for a decent job where we should be getting paid $20+ and hour with an illegal who comes and says i will work for $5 just pay me cash.
get the point?

No, I don't fear the immigrants. I just don't like what my country has become since they infested it.
I really took the time to read what you wrote. I agree with you that this country is worth dying for. Many of our good American soldiers have died for this country. I am not sympathetic toward any people who are arrogant and disrespectful enough to come to my country and fly a foreign flag and tell us how we need to change for them, when they shouldn't be here in the first place. I have to disagree with you on that. I do, however, appreciate that you wrote with some dignity and didn't use a lot of stupidity and profanity, like we typically see here from the illegals and their supporters. I really did read every word of it.

Wussup El Indio? Making people think as usual. I think there are two different ways to look at this situation. The big picture and the little picture. Getting to know one personally would be the little picture. Looking at the stress on our economy would be the big picture. With both pictures you get two very different outcomes. That's what makes illegal immigration such an emotionally charged and touchy subject.

The fact is most are committing crimes. Not to mention I live in an area with alot of illegal immigrants. They cannot or refuse to speak English, even to police. They drive, hunt, fish without a license. Give them a ticket and they never show for court just use another name. I pay out the butt for hospital bills, they get it free. I pay school tax they don't. They want my teachers to learn Spanish, instead of learning English. If I decide to retire and live in Mexico do you suppose they will give me free health care? Make their teachers learn English for my children? Let me fly an American flag above their flag. Maybe most of them mean well, but their actions don't show that to me. If they love being in America so much why to hang Mexican flags at our schools? Why to they have work stoppages and giant protests? They want our benefits while they call us names, and denounce our country.

I'm sure many have good intentions. But many are already criminals, and many turn to a life of crime after they get here even if it was not their original intent. And by the way, we are not a Socialist country, and I for one am sick of having these leeches living off my hard earned money. If you're worried about dying in the desert, stay the hell out of it - STAY IN MEXICO!!!
