Solutions to the wave of African migrants heading for Spain?

Question

Option 1 - A small nuclear warhead to be detonated in the middle of the canaries.
Option 2 - A giant wave machine, I mean lets face it most of the boats are overcrowded and would topple quite easily.
Option 3 - Floating mines
Option 4 - helicopters dropping sand bags on the rafts

What other ideas can you think of?

I was born in a country that my ancestors worked hard to build up and before you start talking about black slavery open your history books there were more white slaves than blacks in the UK. I refuse to stand and watch my country reduced to a slum without expressing my opinion.

It is no good blaming the immigrants themselves for the problems that blight Africa. The immigration issue cannot be looked at from the surface, but is a structural problem of the capitalist system itself.

I would urge people to ask themselves why do people from Africa take such desperate measures to reach Spain and other countries in Western Europe in the first place? The mere fact that people are taking such extreme measures should make you question a system that forces people into such desperate positions.

The right wing media seek to demonise and blame migrant workers for the structural problems of the capitalist system itself. The reality is that greedy and unscrupolous employers in the west use these people as cheap labour and they are often the most exploited members of society.

So before you demonise ordinary working people for trying to survive then please question a system that forces them into this position in the first place because if the African continent was actually fulfilling its potential then migration would not be necessary. People do not leave their homes through choice.

My answer therefore is that if a system cannot even afford to provide the basic necessities of what we would call a civilised life at the beginning of the 21st Century then that system does not deserve to continue.

Correction! The people who populate North Africa are mulattoes - a mixture of Arabs, Romans, Greeks and Turks in the main and by origination NOT Africans! They consider themselves Arabs. Believe me you really wouldn't want these people en masse in your country. They are muslims and think it is fine to rape western women if they are wearing what they perceive as 'inappropriate attire', according to Islam - read up on France's problems with these people. They help exacerbate most of the racial problems in France and side with terrorism. Native African people are less of a problem since they do not in general tend to like bombing non-islamic 'infidels'.

Unfortunately there is no solution. Not one that would satisfy the bleeding hearts anyway. If we started sinking the boats someone would definitly be crying. Then they would whine to the media about how poorly we're treating them, and that's the only side you would hear, because the rest of us who don't really care if they live or die, couldn't be bothered to talk to the media about it, and even if we did, they wouldn't show it. The solution of teaching them is BS. Just look at Mugabes' land re-distribution program. Yeah those farms are really producing now!! HA. They have really learned about birth control, watching their kids starve to death, and have to search through trash to eat. They have really learned about std's and HIV, how many new thousands of new cases each year!! Maybe your ancestors were part of the elite that took advantage of a backward underdeveloped people, and exploited their land for gold (which they were paid for and at the time was a good deal) exploited their Ivory(when the herds were massive and society looked at hunting different, but today tiger, elephant, poachers in general are black africans, and they sell the majority of their wares to China and eastern Asia) and made deals for them to sell their own peoples freedom, maybe your ancestors even kept slaves because they were part of the elite. But mine wern't, and neithers were the majority of middle class UK. So why should I suffer for the injustices perpetuated by your ancestors. I only assume your ancestors were part of the problem because you seem to carry so much guilt about it. Show me a country in Africa that is a capitalist democracy, and I will show you a farce. There is so much corruption and tribal in fighting, they have no transparency, and will slaughter and kill and rob each if everything doesn't go their way, we've seen this in Libya, Kenya, Uganda,DR Congo, Nigeria, Ethiopia, shall I go on. Their own governments don't give a hoot about human rights, or their own people. We had this same situation in Europe and North America at one time and what did we do about it, we had this thing called a REVOLUTION and set up a government by the people and for the people, with transparency and disclosure, freedom of speech, press,religion etc. Now instead of do the same thing in their own country(because when they do another depot just takes the reins, look at Castro, Mugabe,etc, freedom democracy fighters when in revolution mode, Dictators when in Leader mode) they want to come to our country and use the freedoms our forfathers fought for to try and destroy our way of life! And illegal should be paid less because they don't pay tax,NHS,council tax,road tax etc, because they like to live under the radar. You can't blame business and people for hiring illegals, if you were going to buy a new 42' Sony plasma TV top of the range for 3500 quid and someone knocked on you door and said they would sell you the exact same tv for 350 quid, which would you buy? The seas at the points closest to Europe should be closed off to all water vessels except authorised ones, whereby all fishermen, sailors etc are well known and documented, so they don't later claim to be from someplace they're not.
