I recently just found an illegal German family living across the street from me. Its more like a village, their house is freaking huge.

They've admitted to their neighbors to being illegal, but the neighbors aren't gonna say anything.

What can I do without revealing that I was the person who reported them

"Whoever attacks our laws and institutions also attacks our history and Mexico,"

Why is it ok to protest a moratorium not to deport rapists, child molesters, and murderers here and change our laws and institutions for them?

The demonstrators were protesting against anti-immigrant attitudes and policies, not in favor of unions; and yet they were presenting themselves as workers, not simply as immigrants.

They were saying: If you are going to treat us like criminals, why are you hiring us to care for your sick and your elderly, to clean your offices and build your houses, to cook and serve your food?

A few labor unions with immigrant members offered support for the spring demonstrations, but the massive turnout resulted mainly from the efforts of religious and community groups and radio DJs. Playing a less visible but critical role in this historic mobilization were the 140 immigrant worker centers in cities and rural areas across the nation. On this gloomy Labor Day the emergence of these centers of solidarity and advocacy offers hope to immigrant workers and their many allies.

Gave a beautiful answer to my question, "Why is it that most Mexican Americans have so much sense?"

Her answer was:
"I just wish we all could be Americans, though, instead of Mexican Americans, Irish Americans, African Americans. . .you get the picture. We ALL contribute in positive ways. Our ancestors just don't come from the same place! Our skin color isn't the same, but a good person is still a good person."

Isn't that a perfect answer and why don't we take her advice?

Do you guys like LIVE for reporting illegal immigrants?
Because other than yahoo and in school I don't really pay attention to them. I don't go out LOOKING for them. But thats just because my life is usually pretty busy.

Are you guys the same and do you go out and look for illegals like its your job?

Another flimsy argument for "illegals staying where they are not wanted"

We have lots of buses....during the summer, during weekends, and holidays we have tens of thousands of buses which are used by the school systems in each state.

Load up illegals on Saturday morning...drive them to the border of the state which is nearest to mexico...then transfer them to another bus...which will continue the leap-frog travel. From Monday thru Friday, they can stay confined at military bases. Then, Saturday, Sunday and all other days school is not in season...keep 'em movin' on!

Even if you use half the buses in the corral, and service the other buses on alternative weekends, your success rate of transporting illegals will be overwhelming....

Use volunteers of military with armed ICE agents on board for the trip. They (illegals) may eat MRI's...the same as our soldiers eat out in the field....no frills, no luxuries...just solid transportation out of our land.

It is an amazing solution to an ugly problem!

I love cookies. I tend to bake one or two dozen a week. Lately, my neighbor's kid has been finding ways into my house to get cookies. I tried to stop him, but he'll even break locks when he really wants one! I told his mother, but she didn't care. She said I should just let him have some. She won't bake and if I'm going to have cookies around, I should give him some because he starts whining to her when he sees me with them. She points out that I do give cookies to kids in the neighborhood, but I don't think that matters. Those kids ask me and they don't destroy my property. Not to mention, I make the cookies for me, not him. I think his mom is being irresponsible and that the kid needs to be scared straight. What should I do? Leave a door open for him to get cookies? Make him his own batch? Stop making cookies? Or report him to the police?

I just watched the news. They were talking, yet again, about breaking up families if they deport the.....people.....that are here illegally. Why? They do not have to be split up at all. It's so simple my 9 year old granddaughter can see it. Send the illegals and their minor children back to where they belong! What the hell is the hold up?

I want to hear from people especially in the border states. How it has affected me: Being negatively stereotyped since I am Mex, illegals expecting me to be pro-amnesty when I gently remind them that they don't speak for me, sister getting in a car accident and getting no money from it therefore having to move out of her apartment just to break even, loud music 24/7 and the cops dont care cause some of them are paid off by the MM (Mexican Mafia), friend getting raped/impregnated by one and the kid will never know their true father, seeing neighborhoods filled with more and more trash the more illegals move in, having them steal your 2 year old pitbull and watch it die in a dog fight and you try to sue them but then they go back to Mexico, crash into your brick wall fence and skip the country before trial so YOU have to eat the costs, and the worst is, people across the country thinking it's a Civil Rights/MLK type situation and that illegal immigration is a victimless crime. You?

wouldn't it just be best when you come here "LEGALY!!" ,shouldn't you just be plain old American. Otherwise we will have russian american or austraian american, the list could go on and on.Knowing your heritage is fine, but once you become a citizen your American , you give up your loyalty to the country you came from and pledge to defend this one from all others? Not knowing where immigrants loyaltys lay is another reason you recieve so much hate.

Preface to this post: I'M MEXICAN. Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests.

Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave. According to the protesters, not only must you let me stay, you must add me to your family's insurance plan and provide other benefits to me and to my family (my husband will do your yard work because he too is hard-working and honest, except for that breaking in part). If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my right to be there. It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm hard-working and honest ... um, except for ... well, you know. I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of being a racist anti-housebreaker. RACIST!!!!
