No, it does not.

I can understand why SOME Native Americans have a problem regarding the United States concerning certain immigration issues. Within the group of Native Americans, there is a subset of people called the Nahuatls (a member of any of various peoples of ancient origin ranging from southeastern Mexico to parts of Central America and including the Aztecs). If you bothered to read the article (posted in the original question) in its entirety, you would have read that "Aztlan, the mythical birthplace of the Aztecs, is regarded in Chicano folklore as an area that includes California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and parts of Colorado and Texas."

Thus, I can understand why the Nahuatls feel bitter about not having the FREEDOM of movement to regions in the southwestern United States. Why should they be excluded? If someone where to exclude me from my ancestors homeland, I would tell the people occupying the land to get the F-out.

And for the record, I am not Native American. And while I can sympathize with their sentiments, I do not think it is a realistic option to deport all people of European ancestry. Also, I think their protest was not so much an effort to export all Europeans, but rather a means of drawing attention to the issue that these people are still being screwed. But such is life, eh?

I live in Ohio and i have never seen them protest and they sure in the hell don't even voice their opinion here..The county sheriff here will deport an illegal in a heart beat so the illegals here don't make to much of a fuss about their so called rights because they know they don't have any...the sheriff here made a big deal about having them deported and if we see any that we think are illegals we can call his office and he will make a sweep...he also makes sweeps of all the construction sights at least once a month and he sends them all to the ins building in Cincinnati...and all the illegals knows to stay out of his way...I only hear about the protest when I'm on the Internet..and it pisses me off that these people thank that they have a right to be here and that they treat the USA like its a piece of **** that owes them something...These Mexicans need to learn up on the history of the united states if they think they even have a small chance in hell to stay here and while they are at it they need to learn English also...

These mexicans remind me of the black panthers who used violence as a way to convey their point, theres only one difference. The black panthers were fighting for a reasonably just cause, Equality. The black people were born here and had the same constitutional rights, the only reason i say reasonably just is because they used so much violence against police officers and civilians. Americans have the right to voice their opinions, but these illegals do not, why doesnt the INS go to these rallies and just start arresting people, God knows most of them are illegal.
also these people dont have the right to protest because they are illegal, the constitution doesnt apply to them, and they are getting kicked out because they dont belong their in the first place. If someone forced their way into your home and just started living there, eating your food and not paying rent or utilities, but vacuuming the floor every once in a while would you not kick them out of your house, this is the same thing. They dont pay taxes, they drive without licenses, they live an illegal life. every other criminal gets arrested, why shouldnt they.

And we're worried about a civil war in Iraq? Hell, it looks like it all ready started in LA. \

I don't get angry because I have known many of these people. They're good, hard working people. Many of them are honest, church going responsible non- residents of this country. For many of them, the US is the only home their children have ever known.

We need to find a win, win answer to the illegal immigration problem. Serving in the armed forces is certainly viable, and it could be the answer to avoiding the draft for the American public. Serving in the military doesn't appeal to everyone, so it's not the best alternative that the average illegal will even want to consider. But, given a choice of this or deportation, he's apt to reconsider, especially if legalization is part of the incentive.

In part it makes me laugh. True Mexicans were here before us. By here I mean this continent which includes parts of what are now the U.S. However; the lines were agreed upon and draw centuries ago. It's ours now. The reason I laugh is because of all the threats we have right now against our nation any from Mexico are kind of funny. I wouldn't take much to win a war with Mexico. In comparison to the other countries we are dealing with right now that is.

Hatred is a terrible thing...

And so is ignorance. This continent does not belong to the Mexicans, who are themselves part European. And the proposal that white America leave back for Europe is ludacris. First off, my family has been in this country for over four hundred years, and I am a decendent of immigrants from nearly twenty nations, as well as part Native American. So what am i to do, and the millions like me? Should we be expelled to countries we've never been to, where we don't speak the language, just to appease a group of extremeists? And what about African Americans, if they plan to ship off all the white people because they are not "from here" then they must plan on doing this to all blacks as well right? But they wouldn't dream of saying that, because they're both minorities, so they need to stick together. How hypocritical can you get? These people need to realize that native Americans crossed a land bridge from Asia, so if they are expelling all "non-natives" from north America EVERYONE must go, not just the selected few whom the protestors dislike. And many animals would also have to be expelled, horses, domesticated dogs, etc. What a load of bull. Ignorance may be bliss, but these people are only drawing NEGATIVE attention to their cause.

While most people think of racist remarks and politics as being white phenomenon I believe that this is a misconception. More and more, I find that Blacks and Hispanics are the one who openly express bigotry and hatred against anyone who is different from themselves.

The idea of illegals coming in to the USA and openly telling those of European descent to leave the country is bizarre. Only in a free and open society as America could it happen.

the Bill Of Rights guarantees certain freedoms to the citizens of the United States one of which is freedom of speech. regardless of whether that speech is popular, controversial, divisive,etc..The problem with the llegal immigrant problem stems from the economic disparity between the U.S. and its neighbors to the south.Instead of americans exporting our ideologies on how to promote better working conditions and higher standards of living CORPORATIONS AND ENTREPENEURS are exploiting non-skilled,lower educated workers at the expense of the middle class in america.its part of the Wal-Mart mentality that permeates america to find the lowest cost of doing business with the highest profit margins achievable destroying everything in its path. in the end we all pay with higher health insurance premiums, higher unemployment, depressed wages, and instability in our cities due to growing poverty, but all that crap from china sitting on the shelves sure do look pretty

And they use the brown card to call Americans racist. They are the promoters of complete racism and ignorance. Yes, it makes me very angry.
