The U.S. should have free movement between Mexico and Canada. The illegal Mexicans come because they don't want to live on $2/day in Mexico, and if they didn't come illegally, they wouldn't get in at all.
There are NO valid economic reasons against free movement of people. If free trade in goods is a good idea, then so is free trade in labour. If trade barriers in labour are such a good idea, then why don't Americans have more of them, such as stopping Americans from switching states for jobs.
Also, according to the natives ALL Americans are illegals, and America stole 1/2 of Mexico according to the belief of forcing others to share their land.
I think the real problem is racism because if there was 0 racism, you wouldn't care how much non-white immigration there was.

I have changed considerably on this issue. I believe we need to rid ourselves of illegals quickly. Crime rates and gans are rising dramatically from illegals. We need to seal our borders tightly NOW. We could do that if we were not involved in the Bush war on weapons of mass destruction. We need to seal our water and land borders..from ALL, including Cuba. I am sick to death of our partial treatment of Cubans. Mexico is a land of corruption, and until its citizens change the score, they should NOT be welcome here! And it is not the Spanish thing I am upset about, it is the uneven treatment of US citizens in these countries compared to their treatment here. Let's do something about it NOW. Seal the border FIRST, then round them up and get them out. Our economy will take a hit, but we will survive. We always do. And if we stop pouring all our money into the ridiculous war that cannot be won, we can spend it here.

ok, someone gets into this country illegally, they dont pay IRS fed taxes, they lie to get gov assistance and we pay for 50% of U.S births thru medicaid and 50% of these anchor babies get formula....The illegals start up businesses without getting business licencse. If an american did this they would be screwed.
