Doctor? An Engineer? A Teacher? A Designer? An Accountant? An Architect?
or would it be OK if they didn't have many skills, couldn't speak their native tongue well or write it, didn't have the ability or learning to do well in the world. Children learn most when they are youngest. School is VERY important early on and the QUALITY of education in early years apparently determines much of what goes on in life, later. Is it a professional career or a life of drug addiction or alcholism, crime, hopelessness? There is a lot of evidence that suggests children don't do well when they don't get good care, attention and education early in life.
Do you think that classrooms that are overcrowded have any effect on education? Does it make for more efficient teaching/learning when 60% or more of the kids in class don't speak English? Do you think your children will have ample opportunities for work when they do get out of school without solid education and opportunities to learn at an early age?

Over the past 50 years, the world has experienced a massive change. The extensity, intensity, depth, and breadth of global financial, communications and transportation flows have obliterated distance through time. Given the speed at which these flows interact with our human condition, borders can be perceived as barriers to the efficient conduct of human interaction at best and at worst, catalyst which exacerbate gross inequalities in wealth and resource allocation in favor of the wealthy. While the current mantra of free trade and trade liberalization is applied to cross border flows of goods and communications, it does not fully come into being as long as boders exist as it prevent the free movement of labor. Given this and the obvious benefits of the free flow of goods and the capitalist system; aren't borders themselves anti-capitalist and anti-neoliberal? What economic basis or moral justification exists for borders in todays globalized world?

My grandparents (rip) came here to the U.S. to have a better life. Okay so they had kids and and grandchildren and here i am. My grandparents worked here they "Loved" the United States.

Now that may have nothing to do with my question...sorry!

Okay for example i mean illegal immigrants come here illegally yes and some say they take people jobs. How is that? I mean yes they take up the job but i mean okay you people as americans, and i as well would we want to be out working in hot poor climates doing labor like most of the supposly called "aliens" do? I sure wouldnt. Most of them pay taxes...just like my parents do and they contribute to the U.S. So can you kinda guide me throught this or something, because I am like really lost here.

Isn't making the Illegal Immigration a "Illegal Mexican Issue" going to make the people that are natural born citizens and the legal immigrants dislike them? We have more than just illegal Mexican immigrants in this country. People need to start focusing in on the whole problem, not just a section. Unfortunately, the "Day without an immigrant" was started by and observed by mostly Mexican Immigrants. What are your thoughts? Curious minds want to know. I am far from being a racist, and have immediate family that are of Hispanic origin, so please dont send me hate mail, just send me your opinion of the issue.

A burning building, filled with chidren. You have enough time to save just one child. Who would you save and why?
Your own child?
Your neighbors child?
The child of an illegal immigrant?
In essence this is what we face both in life as well as in schools of American today. We certainly would like to save all children. But we can only do a good job with the children we are directly responsible for and/or those who have come here through proper channels so the inordinate numbers do not destroy or threaten our nation's wellbeing.
Who would you save and why?

OK, your walking along the border and a crowd of illegal mexicans just crossed the border. You can't defend yourself and they want to kill you and take whatever you got. Then out of nowhere, a hate group, any hate group saves your life. What do you do?

First, the KKK and white supremacist have their own plans for the colonization and illegal Mexican aliens. Did you ever think such a thing could happen, now that is scarier to me than any Steven King novel.

It is true that the English settled here, but since her birth two hundred years ago, so have many other nations.
Americans are not white, black, red, green, purple.
The only color Americans have is RED, WHITE, AND BLUE.
These are the colors that unite all nations on this soil, and we really need start acting like it.
Oh, and by the way, many white Americans died to free the slaves, create the declaration of independence, and the constitution.
So get over the color thing people, lets get real.
This is about the security, and power of our nation to with stand the corruption of time.

I have been observing many of the questions arising, and I can see there are Americans, and legal immigrants that are angry about the illegal immigration, and all the other illegal activities committed after crossing the border.
But, are Americans really willing to do anything about it?

Did we have feces 10 feet high? NO. Did we have fruits and vegetable rotting on the vine? NO. Did we have garbage everywhere? NO. Did we have houses that were not cleaned? NO. Tell me. What do illegal aliens do that AMERICANS did not do prior to the invasion?

I would like to know how America owes Mexico any money, but our National defciet dictates that we do.
With all of Mexico's citizens that are supported in Mexico, and America with American dollars I believe the debt should be reversed.

Yes, there is. After America becomes a third world country, illegal immigrants will want to go somewhere else. So there is an abstract bright side.

borders??? I do NOT understand this reasoning!! Of course,we need borders!! Borders are what defines a country!! Don't YOU have a fence around your yard? And,why do you need a fence?? It is to define your property line from your neighbors! If your neighbor wants to build a four car garage between your houses, and says "well,we don't have a property line,so i'm claiming this land next to your house, to build my garage on". What could you do??? Nothing, if there is no property line!!!

And,say you want to put up a brick fence, because the neighbors dog is always coming to your house to "do his business". You tell your neighbor your intentions, and he say,"Now wait a minute,i do NOT want a fence there,it will interfere with my view".
We NEED boundary lines for a reason!!!

Illegal immigrants know they are criminals when they enter this country, because of the fact that they are crossing the border without proper process, or respect for America's laws.
In America if an American breaks the law they are put in prison, fined, and their future is down the drain because it goes on their records for life.
Since Corporations like Walmart, and such that sponser criminal terrorist, and criminal behavior in America by hiring Illegal Immigrants, or defectors as they used to be known, and still are.
These kind of companies find ways to encrease the cost of hiring Americans, by complaining we are to expensive to hire, like back ground checks, and drug testing.
Americans should not be harrassed in such away when we apply for a job, illegal immigrants should.
Yesterday, for the third time this year my husband's id was stolen, and I have had enough. I'm joining the fight to get these crriminals deported, even if I have to march them back across myself.

We have been married almost a year. We can not afford sending him to mexico for a year as some say he needs to do to get legalized. We will lose our home and vehicles because I would not be able to pay the bills without his income. He wants to do things the legal way. He has been caught by the immagration so he is on record but thats about it. His record is clean and he pays his taxes.
