Sorry Senior.
I am sympathetic to your needs and reasons but it can't be allowed that you come here the way you have.
Think about it. I am hungry and without work opportunity (cuz my gov. doesn't govern properly) so I'll run away from my country and go to another country ...illegally.
I need something, so insteady of working towards the solution in my own sphere of influence, I rob a bank of money others have put in that bank to save and be prepared for the things they need. Now, because I robbed that bank, others won't have what they need and counted on by doing the proper and legal approach.
What illegals don't realize, is that where there is a will there is a way. Breaking the law is certainly a way but it is the wrong way and ultimately, the laws of God, Man and the Universe will turn against those who do not follow just measures. There are no holidays in the laws of Karma.
You will be sent home or pay a price for not doing this immigration thing correctly. And God help us, we will pay a price if we do not enforce our laws and remove you and others like you from our Country. It's that simply.
You are, from my perspective, welcome here by going through the legal process as have all others before you. Become a legal participant in the system and then you can become and American.

understandable. Hunger waits for no one, however....
There are imigration tactics that would settle this debate. If you or someone you know crosses into America "illegally" the only course of action America has is to deport the "offenders". I seem to remember another nation a while back that had a problem with refugees from other countries and that nation had a huge civil upheveal over it. Something about that states citizens not having jobs or being out bid by these refugees because they could work for less pay and less benefits, often times less humility.
I do believe that nation started a political party in attempts to rein dictorial control over that crazy aspect with the support of the mass citizenship. Ever heard of the NAZI Party? They weren't exactly all insane over just the jewish community, the turkish community was another group seriously effected by the situation.
Yes I did just liken America to Germany in 1900's, the point is still the same. It is the exact same motiff. Not sure about you, but I would like to avoid a repeat of that dreadful mess.
If you are here illegally to better your life and the life of your family, become a citizen. It doesn't take much a little pride a bit of taxes. Sure sure there are tests and such, but ya' know you can join the military and garner citizenship that way too. Now killing two birds with one stone. Paycheck and citizenship.

I"m sorry. I understand your plight. I'm not pro-illegal but I don't think illegals are pro-illegal either. I think you would want nothing more than to be able to be a legal citizen. I mean what person wouldn't want to have rights like everyone else in the country they reside. Personally I don't think it is your fault, but the fault of the United States government for not coming up with a plan that worked a long time ago. Instead you have to come here looking for a way of life for yourself and you don't get the benefit of retiring and getting social security and pension.... You don't get to vote, you can't have a license(although I know some states do give licenses to illegals). I would hate to be in your shoes. Yes you committed a crime but we have worse than that already in our country. We need to worry about the people that are murdering and killing people and not illegal immigrants that are living an otherwise decent life and abiding by the rest of the laws of the US(aside from coming into the country illegally). Our government is just so screwed up!!!!

Leexie: Your misinformed like most "haters" on here. Illegals if paid by check DO pay taxes. The difference is, they unlike you, do not get a refund. Their money stays in the pot, so you can fund schools and such--in affect they pay for their own childrens school by not recieveing refunds. *NEXT*
Seeker: Clean up YOUR act, and stop hating on people. You dont know what your talking about anymore than the rest of these people hating on Hispanics. Mexicans do the jobs your lazy butt dont want. *NEXT*
sealborders: Your obviously diluded to think sealing the borders will work. I cant waste another second on your ignorance. *NEXT*
Princess: What a racisit comment. You say your not racisit, yet you say "Mexicans stare", feel flattered they find you attractive, besides are you implying only Mexicans stare..thats not a racist comment?
I got tierd of reading the crap on here, so for the rest of the Mexican haters, you should all thank the Mexicans for making your life comfortable. You moan and cry becasue "your money this, your money that", what about the BILLIONS, in Iraq? Doesnt Iraq have oil, are they not a rich country..hence, why are we paying for there rebuilding? Sort out your priorities, stop complaining because it is the cause for the moment. If you really want to do something petition for immigration reform, but stop the hate. What we are doing today affects are children later on, we are breeding racisim and hatred into the hearts and minds of young people. Saul Bueno Suerte.

You gotta think. If an illegal comes here and can take a good paying job from someone who was born here, how smart and capable was that other person to begin with? Truth is that most immigrants are harder workers and have better work ethics. I have worked with Asians, Europeans, Latinos and even Canadians who have better work ethics than some of the lazy bums that were born here!!
If companies choose to hire immigrants over nationals/citizens it must be for a reason. All comapanies have a non discrimination clause and give out jobs to those who are better fit!

You want to be pardoned for the crime you committed. If I was in prison for stealing, why should I not be pardoned if you are? It doesn't work that way. Why should YOU get more privileges than an American citizen? Why should you be granted amnesty, when American citizens do not get that? What makes you so special that you deserve that? If you want to show your support for America, and the American people, go back home, and come back the legal way. Until then, you are just another criminal singing the same sad song, I'm not listening though.

So who decides who has a decent life and who doesn't?
What are the guidelines? Why do you deserve citizenship, just because you came from Mexico and could walk here and those that cant have to wait and play by the rules?
If you are living and working here and leading a "good" whatever that is to help your family I cant honestly say that I blame you or wouldn't try the same thing if I was in your position, butl I still would like to hear your responses to my questions.

I have met and understand people in your situation, and I agree with you. We need a guest worker program that is easy to use and that will decriminalize immigration for people coming from any country as long as they are willing to work and assimilate into american society. Our economy is based on cheap migrant labor, and there isn't any short term solution for that, but treating people who make up the backbone of this country like dirt, only breeds frustration, racism and crime.
I hope Bush is out of office before a law on this passes.

There are those who did not cross over illegally who have worked and waited for years to become U.S. citizens through the proper channels. Don't you think it's unfair to them for you to just cross over into this country illegaly and be allowed to stay when they have worked so hard to come here legally?
Also, we are in a war. We need to know who is coming into our country.
And, if you are here illegally I hope you will not use our tax payer provided services when you are not paying taxes.

If you don't like being called "illegal" then STOP breaking the law. That is what the word means. You are here in violation of the law. Why should anyone want a criminal in thier country? If you want to be wanted, go back and clean up your act.
