While there are illegals of other nationalties here, the MAJORITY of ILLEGALS are from mexico! There is an estimated 11-30 million of them here in the U.S. ALREADY,with thousands sneaking in daily!!!! THESE are the ones having their "protest" marches and bringing ATTENTION to the mexicans!!
And,YES it is making a LOT of legal mexican people,VERY angry!!! My sister-in-law (who is mexican) said her friends and family are EMBARRASED by these illegals that have sneaked over here, and start DEMANDING to be given "rights"!! I have mexican friends who feel the same way about illegals!
I live in Arizona, which is the WORST state for illegals coming into the U.S.!!! We have had problems with illegals for YEARS !! I don't think people in the U.S. actually realized how MANY illegals are here, until they marched in OUR streets, carrying those UGLY mexican flags!!!! To see that MANY illeglals, marching and DEMANDING "rights", to see those pictures of OUR flag hung upside down UNDER the mexican flag, well that really PISSED a lot of people off!!!!!!!!! I hope this does NOT turn into a race war, because there are some really sweet mexican people, and as i said, my sister-in -law is mexican, and she and i are best buds!!!@

Well, there are a number canadians protesting it as well, but they arent carrying around mexican flags and focusing on the mexican aspect. They're, obviously, mor concerned with canada. It's the same with people of every nationality. The immigration law affects mexican immigrants in the way that it affects everyone else, thier home country. The only reason you believe that the focus is entirley on mexico is that mexicans make up the vast majority of immigrants to the united states, thus they get the most attention in the media, etc.

Mexico's been trying really hard to 'ho themselves' out to the US over about the last, hmm, 20 years or so, but even before that, too. Basically, Mexico appears to largely be a crappy country that doesn't have its' act together, nor have intentions of reforming anytime soon. Mexico is, unfortunately, also our worst source of immigration problems. Many others, not even from central america, either, have used Mexico as a point-of-entry into america. If this is america's thanks, if this is what we're getting for all the 10's if not 100's of billions we've dumped into mexico, then it's time to pull the plug on a bad border relationship. They can practice staying out of america, and we can practice holding onto our wallets...you're right in pointing out that other countries also have people that have ended up in america illegally, the african continent has HUGE problems with people trying to get out of it, one way or another, some come to america, other places that don't have much in the way of an economy also have their former residents swarming to america by any means possible. Our own residents are watching this 'invasion'(some 1,200 people a day are estimated to make the one-way trip north across the US/Mexico border every DAY, c'mon, now, this is getting stupid), with some alarm, and seeing the Senate waffling about 'amnesty' or whatever and realizing that our representation has apparently sold itself body and soul to some fruit-packing company or whatever that sees fit to employ all these people.
Our border policy is a wreck, because Congress is daily pre-occupied with how much payola they can rake in for their respective states, and they quit looking at the Big Picture, at some point. Of course, that's my subjective view, but it's still my opinion that Congress needs to put it down 'in writing' that we're going to have some way to put an end to swarms of people rolling into this country year after year, while they sit there and do nothing. We've seen what out-of-control immigration can do to other countries, why let it happen in america, other than to make a quick buck? Short-term vs. long-term, and this administration's loath to lift a finger about it. Tokenism and greed have been the hallmarks of BushCo I and II, and americans are left with 2 things on their personal agenda, securing their valuables and getting on a first-name basis with local law enforcement. Maybe even on the speed-dial...

That is very true, it seems many Mexicans believe this is a war which we have raged against them personally. i dont care who your are, I think everyone should abide by the laws as best they can. I just so happens there are a lot of mexican illegals since we share a border with them, but we have illegals from all over, and every single one of them has commited the same crime.

Because a lot of them have snuck into the US already , and they've been here for awhile and feel like they should be allowed to stay , but they don't want to go through the trouble of legal naturalization like everyone else has to , and what is required by law.
