The guardsmen are unarmed and wearing hardhats instead of Kevlar helmets — "we do not want to appear as if we're militarizing the border," Greeff said. They will not perform any law enforcement duties.

the demonstrations/protests/boycott only hurt the the illegal immigrants, by pissing off Americans.Do you think that anti immigration rally/demonstrations/boycotting will be constructive?Either way demonstrations and protests do not solve anything,do you agree?

They are so quick to drop the race card rather than accept the fact that what these people are doing is ILLEGAL (which means against our laws for you libbies out there)!

Time and time Pancha whips her race card out to defend illegals, isn't it getting old?that race card is expired just like old milk, now she should get the new and improved DELUXE MODEL that comes with it's own leather carrying case, fully laminated glows in the dark and is now the standard issue for every illegal crossing the border,it also comes with it's own stolen social security card, and if you order it right away, the mexican government will include a map of places to cross and a photo of Vicente Fox waving goodby from the mexican side

Say what you want but if you look out your window or cardboard box right now, Canadians are just crawling the street. I made this observation from my house window in Toronto. And it puzzles me, why are there so many canadians in the good old time American city of toronto?

I understand if you live in S.California or any place that has a high population of illegals. But they are only 4% of the population. How can they bring the US "to it's knees".Some of you are starting to sound like "doomsday" preachers.Maybe we need to take a step back for a moment. This issue with immigration is not the biggest problem for the US right now.

and the muslim countrys offered such luxuries as unemployment benefit and gave you a house just for turning up in there country and offered you the chance of never working again and then saving enough to get the rest of your 60 relations over to there adoptive country and not respecting there adoptive countrys traditions and values and then trying to blow there adoptive country's nationals apart do you think that would be so readily acceptable in an islamic country

I am a British citizen but am here in the USA with permanent residency status. If I became a US citizen, would I relinquish my British citizenship? I had heard that the USA does not recognize dual nationality, but Britain does. If that is correct, what are the implications?

We have a bunch of low lifes in the senate that should have been thrown out of office years ago like Ted Kennedy, what troubles me is now there are republicans that are joining him in his quest to make the US a third world country by creating this ridiculous immigration bill

I'll try to make this brief. I know of somebody who has been e-mailing a girl (about 30yrs old) who is in Russia. I have not been able to dig up any dirt on her,so I do not believe she is a scam artist. However,My friend has already sent some money to her so she can come over here. She is now asking him for some more money, something about being solventbefore she can make the trip. She claims to have the visa and all other paperwork, but I do not understand the need for her to prove she is solvent(has money to support herself) before coming over here. Is there some place I can research this to see if she is telling the truth? My friend has ask me for some money to send her and I do not know what to do. Any suggestions? (Give me some websites I can research if you know of any)

I mean it just makes sense right? Who would do a better job, guardsmen, or Border Collies, the word border is in their name. You know they ain't lettin' nuthin' through.

The highest number I saw was around 200 million people in 20 years, if all maximum quotas were used under the Bill. The Heritage Organization was saying about 100 million in 20 years, most poor immigrants with elderly and school aged family who would strain social services. Then there was an amendment to the Senate Bill that limited it slightly, and pro-illegals and pro-slave labor program both claimed the problem was solved. How comfortable are you with 60-70 million new poor immigrants under the Senate Bill, not taking into account illegal immigration? That is roughly a third of the current population of the USA! http://www.heritage.org/Research/Immigration/wm1109.cfm

What do you think? Do you have that much room for workers and school kids in your area?
