I have a mexican woman that cleans my house once a week. I pay her cash like I would my high school babysitter.

I think she might be illegal. It's not worth having her clean if I can get fined or in trouble.

Yes. But why would you want to hire them in the first place? why not run an ad in your local paper an hire someone whom is in the country legally. A lot of poor college kids, single mothers looking to suppliment their incomes and lots of other poor working people would be glad to this kind of work, only they don't have the opportunity because of people like you who is looking for the cheap help!

They also accept Taco Bell coupons, rides to the E.R, & Welfare. Oh and please invest in a paper shredder to protect yourself from identity theft!

Most of the rich Republicans who are stirring up all this mess about "illegals" have nannys, housekeepers, maids and yard men who are aliens, and are paid in cash.

Of course you CAN do it but you can get in trouble if you do not follow labor laws in terms of reporting their income, withholding etc. If you even plan to run for public office, you had better follow all of the rules.
