Actually the Media will not report on the "anti-demonstration", just the Demonstations by illegals, so that it makes them look bad.
The press doesnt give "constructive opinions", they always look for the "bad" in the news...
Remember, good news, doesnt sell, but bad news will always sell...
(That is, unless you get the Grit newspaper, its loaded with good news!).
I wish you well..

Demonstrations usually turn people off. The illegal immigrant demonstrations were no exception. The anti illegal immigration demonstrations are another bad idea. Nothing will change, most Americans are already making individual decisions which effectively acheive the same results without all the banter.

I think that the people against illegal immigration are going to protest at the ballot box. I think that because of that, the 'public shows' won't really amount to much. And no, I think boycotts of innocents don't help. If we targeted major employers of illegal immigrants (I dunno, a week without fresh vegetables?) we might make a point. But the only thing that is really going to count is the direction of our government.
In any event, I think we need to define what we are against. I think if people would look at the numbers planned in the Senate Bill as going forward LEGAL immigration, they would quit saying 'guest worker plan fine, amnesty bad'. The illegals are already here, and at most would undergo attrition over time. Meanwhile the Senate wants to bring a flood of new people in. I think we should deal with what we have, close the border, and get employer databases up and running.
That might solve something.

The demonstrations here in the Los Angeles area proved that we do not need illegal immigrants. If anything, it made things better for a day. I got to school with zero traffic. I hope they protest every day!

The anti-illegal "demonstration" will be in November at the ballot box. That's the only political protest that matters.

Not true-many good protest have done good.
In the 60s-protest on war had a big effect.
Many unions use this method-for wage increases-health befits-conditions-ect
Court cases where criminals were let off got appealed-
Love Canal area-protested the chemicals going into water -took too long but without the protesters-many more would have been hurt.
I could go on-and on.'
In this case of immigration who could predict what side will win many votes by protest.

I think the only ones who SHOULD be able to protest are the citizens who ACTUALLY HAVE THE RIGHT TO PROTEST!!! NOBODY CARES THAT THE ILLEGALS ARE BOYCOTTING WORK FOR A DAY... demonstartions will work if enough of the citizens work together and and have a national day of "A DAY WITHOUT A REAL AMERICAN" can you imagine?
Well, actually it would be really funny... think of all the illegals that would show up to work that day... since they can't understand the signs that are written in english.

What is going to happen in America in the next few weeks/months will only help Mexico. when illegals from Mexico have no other choice then to go home and demand that The Mexican government do what is right for the people of that country. You will see, Amnesty will not happen.

I agree with you to some extent. Most people already made up their mind whether if they are for or against...the only group that would attract would actually be the media in which I case I can agree with Woodworkingmenace because the media is one-sided and many times biased.

I think.... that you don't immigrate to ANY country and then assume to boycott those whom are your new neighbors. Further, you don't go to a new home and then proceed to tell them how that home should be run.
There is a certain arrogance, an unmistakable air of presumption in those who not only come to America illegally but then give the finger to those whom they want to welcome them.
It's just not going to work that way.
