I've been strongly against illegal immigration to the US but have encouraged many Americans to vacation in (Cozumel)Mexico (you can check my answers)-am I just confused, correct in my seemingly conflicted views or nuts? Would an American travel boycott of Mexico (and maybe Mexican products) force their government and their wealthy elite to raise wages and create a better standard of living for the average Mexican in their homeland (thus reducing the need/desire to come to the US),or, would it have the opposite effect by causing more economic hardship to the "average Jose" thus increasing illegal immigration into the US?

would you: a) cross over and live a better life, b)stay there?

*It is obvious that many mexicans chose a better life, since it is simply terribly easy. If we know this and we are the great country we are(U.S.) AND WE ARE SO KIND WITH POOR and DISAbLED COUNTRIES LIKE IRAK don't WE FIND A REASONABLE AND kIND RESOLUTION?

Lets get off the immigrants for a moment.

I did see on TV-live film. Where Border Patrol had made stops and they did have lots of drugs and yes lots of unregister guns. Over time they have a warehouse full. Isn't this enough reason to close border?
I don't want my children on drugs. And who were those weapons going too? So minus the people factor do we want this? And if someone would find out how much we have confiscated would love to hear it.

I saw enough on film to think that was too much what are your feelings?

And please just this issue this time not the people

Okay, I say, give the illegals 30 days to get out or we will shoot them on site. Then, stop the welfare program, tell all those on it that there are an abundance of jobs available now. The willing will work, the rest will die. Fittest survive. Thoughts on this plan anyone?

The white people invaded nothing. They built a country by blood, sweat and tears. These so called "native Americans" came here from Siberia only 20,000 years ago. The U.S.A made treaty after treaty with the Indian then the Indians would on the war path and break the treaties. The uncivilized Indians massacred and raped many thousands of innocent women and children. The whites have done nothing but try to civilize the Indians. Most Indians are pampered, spoiled, lazy and do not work getting drunk daily on their reservations at taxpayer expense. The taxpayer also pays the Indians' other living expenses via twisted welfare laws.

I have a large family of Hispanic illegals living across the street. There are about 5 adults and 7 children there everyday, and on weekends the number triples. Their cars line the streets and they sit out in their front yard, drinking and partying all weekend. My property values are dropping with each passing day!

In particular, representing Chinese. I am fluent in Mandarin. My Chinese friends have urged me to consider immigration law. I have been doing taxes for years and am thinking about switching. What groundwork or basics should one follow? Does one need to live/work in a huge city? Is there any money in it?

on CNN lately I see crowds of illegals holding signs claiming that we are nazis, which I believe is untrue. If they know that they are here illegally, then why are they the ones taking action against us Americans, and not the other way around. we should be taking action against them. we as Americans have been insulted by these illegals, and all we are doing is talking about it.What is your opinion? And what do you think we should do about it?

If Illegal Immigrants are stealing people's identification so that they can live and work in America, don't they get driver's licenses, and voter's cards?
The last time that I went to my local township elections there were far more illegal immigrants there to vote, than there were Americans.
Our local officals provide translators for these illegals, then allow them to vote, knowing that each and everyone of them is a felon because of using a stolen identity.
There is only way to stop this, and it is not through your vote, it is through your dollars.
Close your wallets, and they will go home of their own free will!
Report companies that sponsor human smugglers, by hiring illegal immigrants, and close your wallets to them.
No matter what our government does, we still earn the bread and butter.
It's not about racism, or compassion, because believe me, they have none for you, or they would not be here as criminals in the first place. They would earn it, just like you.

OWE something to OTHER countrys???? Since when,are WE the only country that is suppose to GIVE to everyone that wants a HANDOUT??!!!
There are other countrys that are Not "poor" countrys,that could give money when there are disasters,etc.,but NO, everyone expects US to give,and give,and give! HELL,mexico is not a poor country,let them help their OWN DAMN PEOPLE!! Why do people expect us to just turn a "blind eye" to illegals sneaking across our borders,and BREAKING our laws while doing so? How come America is called the land of the free? When I take a realistic look at this country not too many people here have actually been Free...For instance...
1.The Indians...How many of them do you see anymore..Manifest Desitiny??
2. The Africans?? Slaves for hundreds of years...and then just in the last 80 years did they really become free.
3. Immigrants/?? Today they come here to work for practically nothing in jobs we don't really want...so arent they technically slaves..
4. Chinese Railroad workers
5. Japanese who were put into interment camps during WWII?
We didnt intern German Immigrants during WWII...was it cuz they were white??
To me it seems that the only real free people ever in America were white people...so is it fair to everyone else to call this country Land of the free??

and why do they call illegal people 'illegal aliens' if they come from the earth and not from outer space. and other people say that they should "return to sender" but i actually see mexicans looking towards the future and some racist people don't caring at all because they think they can have it all without working.

It seems that just here recently illegal immigration has become a crippiling invasion of the U.S.A. But it has been going on for decades without major reform, they have always came across at this rate, it has always been a burden on tax payers but what was it that happened to make it such a huge deal?

If you are upset about it why weren't you this vocal about it before? What happened recently to get everybody so fired up?

And if you say it was a big deal back in the 80's and 90's why hasn't anything been done about it for 20 years?


( terrorism is not an answer, no terrorists came from mexico. Most 9/11 terrorists came from Saudi Arabia and we see how we treat them )
