Can I be counter-sued in small claims court? Are they trying to intimidate me so that I drop the charges?

I am suing for $2000. I gave the CPA $1500 to handle a few tax issues. He never did a thing. He would never return my phone calls. I begged for an itemized list of the things he accomplished and I never got it. Initially, the CPA informed me (even warned me), that other CPAs milk clients for thousands and do nothing. Looking back, I realize the guy was projecting. "HE" was the one who milked people. I reported him to the BBB, and the state CPA association. All I want is my money back. I never had any services rendered to me.

By the way, never respond to postcards from CPAs mailed to your home. They promise you the stars and deliver nothing. They appear to be scams.

Doesn't Congress have better things to do than worry about investigating the CIA. This is all that has been in the news. I am not worried about the CIA because I am a law abiding citizen that's not a threat to the U.S. Why don't they focus on getting America energy independent, helping the troops get their money to fight the war, and most important getting China to obey the fair trade laws that will help small and large US companies. The Democrats keep talking how they are for middle class. Well, Get China to trade fairly.

The Des Moines Register endorsed Hillary Clinton because she would be more likely to compromise with corporate power for change in Washington and the country. How did corporations attain so much ill-gotten power in Washington in the first place? There is nothing in the Constitution that gives them political power whereby the People have to compromise with corporations to get our country back! Something is very wrong in Washington. John Edwards seems to understand it better than anyone, except perhaps Ralph Nader.

Okay, my friend was caught shoplifting by a undercover shopper at Wal-mart. I'm not sure what or how much he tried to steal (as i didn't want to ask him) but he said it couldn't be more than $200. He claims as he was caught, he was kept in the back for no more than 5 minutes, in that period of time, police was present, but didn't say anything, also they just took down his information, and was told to wait for a call from the manager (he works there too...i know, idiot)

What do you think is going to happen? he's really scared of getting a record, doesnt care about getting fired or banned

For shooting and killing those 2 men? He'll probably be release because he's White and the two victims were Black.

He went chasing after them with a gun and shot them in the back. They were NOT burglarizing his house. He was never in danger. Also, he's a liar, he then ran back into his own house and claimed his life was in danger. Typical.

Do you think the DoD Decency act is right? Basicly the act prohibits the sale of obscene material at On-Base Exchanges. Currently Playboy, all Playboy special editions, Penthouse, Tatoos, and Bikers are allowed, but other Pornographic magazines are not? Every 5 years a commision approves or denies magazines, the "explicit" are not allowed, "tastefull" are. Do you think this is right?
