For shooting and killing those 2 men? He'll probably be release because he's White and the two victims were Black.
He went chasing after them with a gun and shot them in the back. They were NOT burglarizing his house. He was never in danger. Also, he's a liar, he then ran back into his own house and claimed his life was in danger. Typical.

I think he deserves a medal!
The law gives him the right to protect himself, his property, or defend others or their property. I support this man 100%. Had the two criminals been white would this even be an issue? Or suppose it was a black man that had shot two white burglers under similar circumstances would it even have made the news?
I can only assume from your statements that you must have been there? You can't know he was never in danger, are you psychic or something?
Shouldn't you be asking what gave those two criminals the right to break in and steal someone's belongings?

I dont care if they were black, white, green or blue, they were thieves, gang members and known to be extremely dangerous! Its about time law abiding citizens are able to defend themselves and stand up for their neighbors in similar situations. I am tired of all the criminals having the right to steal, rape, etc. and get away with it because no one wants to get involved. If people's hands were not tied, this would make one hell of a better deterrant than the death penalty.

No one with a brain. That man had every right to check on his neighbors home and if those fools had not turned on him, they would have just been deported, not killed. Americans are sick of the stick ups in everyday living due to the illegals let alone the viscious ones. I'd welcome him as my neighbor any day! BTW, one should read about the crime, they were not shot in the back!

Joe Horn does not deserve a medal. But he does not deserve to go to prison either. The fact is, the people who died were engaging in criminal behavior. And there are any number of stories about robberies turning into murders. The most recent example is of a football star who was murdered by burglars who tried to steal from his home, not once but twice, within a week. If you try to steal from someone, that person and/or his friends are going to get aggressive with you. That may result in your death. That is why burglars often shoot their victims -- it is a kind of a pre-emptive strike. It lets them get away with the loot and also lets them get away with murder. When burglars stop shooting the people whose homes they are burgling, the victims will stop shooting the burglars. Not all burglars shoot the home-owners, I know. But then most home-owners do not shoot burglars either. The best thing to do is not to steal.

Life in prison without the possibility of parole! He had NO way of knowing who and why those people were there. Does this mean if I see someone shoplifting,and I think they might be an illegal alien,I could shoot'm dead as they leave the store? What if I miss and hit you? Joe Horn is a disgusting hold-over from the wild west! It was OK then to commit genocide against the Native Peoples. Mr. Horn would have been a TRUE AMERICAN HERO,if he had just held those two at gunpoint till the cops got there. No one in America is Judge,Jury,and Executioner!

For good or bad he was just following Texas Law. What those that want him to be arrested and hung is that the American people are tired of criminals robbing us blind then crying fowl when someone takes the law into their own hands. Much of the blame needs to go to our federal government that treats those who break our immigration laws like they are jay walking tickets. Then add to the the fact our borders are wide open it just adds fuel to the fire of illegal immigration

i think the death penalty is a bit excessive. i believe 2 to 5 in minimum security prison would be good.

He should get a medal, as he killed two illegal alien criminal invaders, and only one of them was black. He did not violate Texas law, as Texas law allows home owners to use deadly force to protect their property and their neighbor's policy. Get the story straight next time.
