My boss entered a contract to deliver 5000 printers to the office max warehouse on January 10th. On December 15th, my boss called office max to inform them that the union at his factory just went on strike and that his company would not be able to deliver the printers on time. Office max needed the printers so they ordered from another supplier. On January 3rd, my boss called and said that the strike was settled and that he would be able to deliver the printers after all. Office max said "After you called last month, we decided that you breached the contract, so we ordered from someone else. We wont accept the printers from your company." My boss called his attorney and asked, "How could we breach the contract in December if we didn't have to perform until January?" What is the answer to that question?

It seems that the school shouldn't be able to confiscate personal property. My math teacher, for example, will take the phone and charge you $10 to get it back if you're caught texting in class. Can't put my finger on it, but this sounds like it should be illegal to me.

My older sister wants to be a military journalist but is worried that it's morally wrong. All right, so women aren't Biblically allowed to be in combat and aren't legally allowed to anyway, but who says being a military journalist is wrong? That isn't in the Bible anywhere. I do not enjoy the idea of women being good for nothing except repopulating and getting in the kitchen to making pie for their husbands. Is my sister right, from a Biblical viewpoint?

We originally rented our flat through a lettings agency four months ago on a 12 month contract. Since then our Landlord and the agency have fallen out and dragged us into a court battle. our Landlord asked us to pay him direct and the estate agents say we breached our contract but because of the despute they said they will void our contract. Technically we have no written contract between either ourselves and the agency or the landlord. What are our rights? Can we move at any time or do we have to give notice? The address we should write to giving our notice is the same as the one we're living at. We also want our deposit back when we move into our new place, what can we do???

Even before Bush was elected, I saw this comming. I always felt compelled to have both parties in washington as each has valuable ideals. Now, I'm not sure I EVER want to vote for a Republican again. I'm feeling like if it wasn't for Democrates we would be in a communist country without ANY constitutional rights, as they continue to;
1. Break laws and not get punished for it.
2. Change the law to only favor their party.
3. Kill my chances of EVER retireing.
4. Refuse to offer working adults any safety in healthcare benifits.
5. Refuse to pass laws that force enviromental protection and independence from foreign oils.
6. Tell me when, where, and IF I can pray and continue to force their own religious rights, while stepping on mine. (seperation of church and state?)
One last question.. Do all Republicans feel that war is good for the economy?

4th Amendment; if it directly conflicts with the principles that the Country was founded upon?

Obviously the internet was not in existance when the Constitution was written; although there were many speculations in the writings of persons shortly after freedom was established--that addressed a point in time when this law may come under distinct scrutiny due to advancements in society. Unless there is reasonable concern for continual invasion of privacy--then any new law is still in violation of individual rights that are considered inherant.

When a law is in violation of the Constitution and others are willing to violate the said laws--both are in error?

Whether it be rehashing the same old talking points, bestowing more unnecessary admiration, attacking others for not 'properly' addressing him as "Doctor Paul,' or in general making the Ron Paul voting bloc look a bunch of douche bags hiding behind keyboards in their parents' basements, their presence is wearying and is not moving me to vote for the man. Anyone else notice the Ron Paul Spammer phenomenon?
