They will ask you all kinds of questions

did you lie on any part of your application.

Have you commited a crime you have not be caught for.

Have you ever done drugs (many variants of this question during the test)

have you ever been a menber of a criminal gang

Have you ever sold drugs

They will also have a bunch of questions that you would have no reason for lying about.

I am assuming you are talking about a test for employment with them

Most will start with generalization questions which you cant possibly lie on like your name and birthdate to calibrate the machine to your answers. Then they will move onto details of whatever it is you are accused of doing. Now all questions asked will be answered with a yes or no only, no lengthy answers and no explanations. The tester can trip you up just by changing minute parts of his questions wich will alter your answer so basically it is a controlled situation which is why many courts dont like polygraph tests

A polygraph only works because you think it will Robert Hanssen FBI and Aldritch Ames CIA passed their polygraphs year after year, despite working for the Russians. They were told by KGB just to get a good night's sleep and don't react when they lie.

Stick a thumb tack under your shoe, and before answering the question rock your foot foward and answer, the pain will trigger a chemical reaction making it impossible to tell if your lying. At least thats what I saw on that Oceans 13 movie cool flick.

*and yes I DO believe EVERYTHING T.V. tells me why would they lie :/ LMAO!
