The war has been their main focus, but have been stymied by the Republicans and the Bush veto. Same with minimum wage, children's health care, stem cell research, etc.
Since they got the majority in Congress, they passed:
a bill to raise military pay,
a bill that increased Veterans Affairs funding,
a bill to implement 9/11 Commission recommendations,
a bill to better regulate the student loan industry,
a bill that increased fuel efficiency standards for the first time since 1975,
a fiscally sound budget

Reminds me of an old joke. How many democrats does it take to change a lightbulb. We don't know because they never try to change anything. It will however take 16 or 18 democrats to whine about it.

why should the democrats be doing anything? defintion of democrat is not "to fix bush's mistakes" wtf, when a democrat is elected president you will see what democrats can do, why dont you worry about the damage bush has done, not what democrats will be doing, because bush is the one to blame for ruining the economy, our public relations and plenty of other crap, not democrats for not doing anything when theyre not even in office.
