Like in the US: it started around a year ago and we have to wait until next November for it to end. Do you think long campaigns such as this are good or bad?

What would happen to all of the money that has been taken from the elderly, up to the "boomers"? Is there some sort of reimbursement plan, or would there be total mayhem? Some of the elderly have no other income. And, how about all of the income tax, just for this year...total refund? I ask because I think it's all talk, no action!

Fred Thompson puts me asleep while looking at him. Many of Rudy actions remind me of our crook President Richard Nixon. Many of the other presidential candidates are blowing smoke up our a**!
I believe John McCain days for running for president is over. His age is taking a toll. I welcome your thoughts about any of the candidates.

Federal spending on paper shredding has increased more than 600 percent since George W. Bush took office. This chart, generated by usaspending.gov, the U.S. government's brand spanking new database of federal expenditures, shows spending on "contracts for paper shredding services" going back to 2000
In 2000, the feds spent $452,807 to make unpleasant truths go away; by 2006, the "Cheney Effect" had bumped that number up to $2.9 million. And by halfway through 2007, the feds almost matched that number, with $2.7 million and counting

I didn't bother voting in 2004, but I'd like to vote in this historic election since Hilary Clinton is going to be our first female President. My one concern is that I'm looking into working for a couple of companies in other states and don't know how busy I'll be next year. What should I do?

I just got a ticket for speeding and i was just wondering is it possible to fight a ticket based on vehicle discrimination? What happened was I was following a f150 truck on the local tollway and he was in the fast lane and i was in the middle lane and i was a good car length behind. As we are coming to the tollbooth the officer radars us and pulls only me over. I am driving a 01 firebird formula .. a sports car and he didnt even atempt to pull over the f150. I understand i was speeding but just becuase i was driving a nicer car doesnt mean i should be the only one to get a ticket

I am planning on joining the Air Force and I was wondering if you can put where you want to be stationed at in your contract. For example I know a woman who joined and her husband was already in, she was planning on putting in her contract to be stationed at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center at Ramstein, De. Is this possible to do or no.
