the day George W. Bush pursues a "noble cause," i think Al Gore would give him his OWN Nobel Prize.

If I were Bush, I would reject any nomination of the prize.

The Nobel Committee, after all, gave a peace prize to Yasser Arafat, one of the most violent men of the 20th century, someone who pursued solutions through violence all of his life.

--He began smuggling arms to Palestinians at age 17
--He founded and lead at least two terror groups
(Black September)
(the PLO)
--He tried to overthrow the Jordanian government
--He tried to overthrow the Lebanese government and succeeded in creating a bloody civil war
--He funded and encouraged the murder of thousands of innocent Jewish civilians unprovoked

(Yet, Billy Graham has never been nominated.)

Is the "peace" prize really about peace? Or is it a chance for the Nobel Committee to express political views?

He will never win any prize other than the one for being the worst president ever.. that one he has hands down.

And to the first poster... you cannot honestly believe that Bush will ever, ever be considered for any Nobel prize? You just can't!

The same award given to terrorist kingpin Yassir Arafat

The award means very little anymore.
