my friend was driving a car registerd to me (that i have been letting her drive for the past 5 months) and she decided to go to a pharmacy drive through, say she was someone else, and obtain this other person's pain killer. we know this other person (the one she took the rx from) and the person called the cops. I had no idea she was going to do this, was not in the car, i have no record and i was at work all day (which can be verified).
the person that called the cops knows that i have nothing to do with it but wants to bust my friend. that is perfectly fine with me. here comes the bad part.
i used to buy a few from the person that has the rx, and when they catch my friend, she will try to bring us both down with her. i haven't bought any in a couple of weeks, and my system is clean, the car i drive is clean, my apt is clean and my record is clean.
would what she tells the officer be considered heresay? or could i face charges (with no physical evidence??)
