what does it say to you that 23% Israel's population are arabs.(CIA world factbook).

Despite the face that most arabs have sworn to wipe out, the arabs in Israel have no fear when it comes to being muslim. they get unique housing benefits. they get equal rights and free speech. In public centers even in the Israeli military, there are bilingual signs in Hebrew and in arabic.

Even more bizzar is that the arabs in israel are not trying to escape or run out of israel.

My girlfriend didn't do so hot on the 1.5 mile run for her fitness test and told me that she wasn't going to be selected to train next year in Georgia at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. I was wondering if that was really the case. I just feel like that is a little silly to disqualify someone for something you can teach them to get better at during training. She has already passed an extensive background check and been cleared on her medical exam. Not to mention the fact that she had to make several new bills when she had to get additional medical check ups to verify information for them. So please please help me out and tell me this isn't true. I have the upmost respect for the Marshals Service but this would be the worst hiring practice ever if it were deemed to be the case. I mean you can teach people to run, but you can't teach integrity. Obviously she has it or else she wouldn't have passed the background check. Just give me all the info you have on this subject people

Did the UK not offer a substantial amount of financial aid to the US, only for the oil barons to tax higher in order to reclaim the lost resources to cover that debt?

the local volunteer fire department drives a fire truck through the neighborhoods every year, with a Santa on top, waving to everyone. there are also firefighters walking along side, handing out candy canes. are you supposed to give them a donation? we gave them a few dollars and they seemed confused... (but they gave us a candy cane!)

I am a screenwriter writing a scene in which a marine needs to keep in touch with somebody during basic training. He keeps his phone hidden on him at all times and gets in trouble for taking calls during training manuevers.

I'm wondering if this is a realistic scenario. Would marines be allowed to cary a phone on them at all times during basic? Are they allowed to make calls only at certain times? What kind of trouble would they get in for taking calls when they shouldn't be?

Please only answer if you have real knowledge and experience. I want to be as acurate as possible.

I recently applied for a great job, which I am well qualified for. It is a customer service call center job. I was recently arrested for felony possession of marijuana in another state and I am out on bond. The employer is doing a background and credit check for the position. I have no other felony or drug charges, just simple misdemeanors for having my dog loose and driving without a license, which i listed on my application, I did not list the pending charge because they did not ask. Will this pending charge and bond show up on my the check and will it disqualify me from the job.

A pizza store has a 5 store chain of pizza restaurants. It purchased self service soda dispensers for all its stores from a company called Carbo. As part of the contract, Carbo agreed to maintain and repair the soda machines for 3 years. 6 months later, the maintenance guy at Carbo retired.
