I was just talking to a guy who said his best friend went to training at Fort leonard wood and had sex with several girls during his basic training AND AIT. Is this true,... can this actually happen,.. or is he just full of sh**??

Yes, it can happen...sometimes it does. Try as we might to control the urges of young Soldiers, they will find a way. When I was in basic (1988), a member of my platoon was caught in a dumpster by the mess hall with one of the female trainees--they were not dumpster diving (though some type of diving may have been going on). As for sex in AIT...uh, yeah...all the time. Whether this guy was full of it or not, I can not say, but nothing would surprise me.

I don't think anyone who got lucky during basic training would brag about it like that. Having sex for real during basic would end a military career in its infancy, that stuff is taken very seriously. Besides, how could he even find the time for it?
I have heard a story (unconfirmed, of course) about a couple of Australian recruits in a mixed platoon trying to get a quick one done in a laundry room, then getting caught. Because even if you can find the time, there's still a massive element of risk and fairly poor odds in your favor.

It can be done, but it's really really really hard. You are under supervision almost constantly. If someone has sex at Basic Training or OSUT or even a short AIT course, they must be really really committed to cheating! You are going to have to either learn to trust the boyfriend, or drop him. Because after AIT, he will actually have the freedom and plenty of time, unlike in BCT and AIT.

I am at FLW and work with Soldiers in training.
He's probably full of sh**, but there are times when trainees are unsupervised (passes to go to PX, passes to go to St Robert). So if he/she grabbed a quickie it was in a glamourous spot like the trash dumpsters behind the chow hall or in the middle of a grassy field on FTX after five days without a shower....BUT
If he were to talk about it at FLW, his drill sergeant/AIT PSG would eventually find out, and he/she would get an Article 15 (minimum) with a ton of extra duty. Sex between trainees is strictly forbidden because of all the stupid drama that comes with it -girlfriend/boyfriend bs. 99.8% do what they are told and wait until the go back home to see their girl/boy friends. .02% get caught and severly punished, and also jeopardize having their whole platoon lose their passes. Did your friend tell you what happens to jerks who 'buck the system' and get their whole platoon punished?

In AIT? Sure you have freedom there.
Most guy's that claim they are getting laid all the time do so because they are not, at all, ever, no freaking way. Guy's that are getting laid usually keep it to themselves.
Unless they count when they are alone. Rodney Dangerfield had a line that losing his virginity was frighting because he was alone when it happened.
