I recently applied for a great job, which I am well qualified for. It is a customer service call center job. I was recently arrested for felony possession of marijuana in another state and I am out on bond. The employer is doing a background and credit check for the position. I have no other felony or drug charges, just simple misdemeanors for having my dog loose and driving without a license, which i listed on my application, I did not list the pending charge because they did not ask. Will this pending charge and bond show up on my the check and will it disqualify me from the job.

Failure to disclose ANY pending charge is generally grounds for denying you the job and/or firing you at a later date. The actual charge is actually LESS likely to disqualify you than attempting to hide it.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://biturl.im/aUOFl

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

As soon as the prosecutor, usually State Attorneys Office, files the charge, then a case is created with your name on it and you're in the system. The background check is conducted through law enforcement so to answer that question, yes, it will show up as a record. Doesn't matter if you are out on bond or not. As for your job qualification.........they don't have to ask. You should of been honest. That they will look at. If you didn't tell them that than they will wonder what else won't you tell them if they did employ you.
I wouldn't get too hopeful for the job. You may have done yourself in. Haven't you ever heard "honesty is the best policy."

Well then the charges were obviously not dropped if they're still pending call the courthouse and see what the deal is you might have to go back to court if they're still pending unless they made some kind of mistake just call to make sure you're not in any trouble

Ya know....Its' really funny how hindset is truly 20/20 vision.
Your question is honestly asked and I hope you don't mind me honestly answering it.
Consider the situation and the premise of your question?
And...Consider it as if you are the one doing the hiring?
Let me rephrase your question and you answer it for yourself.
I recently applied for a great job, which I am well qualified for. I was recently arrested for felony possession of marijuana in another state and I am out on bond. The employer is doing a background and credit check for the position and I purposely withheld the information on my felony because of a technicality in that they did not ask. If I am convicted of a felony is it possible my potential employer might not want to hire convicted felons? Is it possible my potential employer might not want to hire drug users?

Ok...answer this for yourself and remember.
Would you hire a drug user?
Would you want a convicted felon working for you.
Some good advice might be to turn your life around, quit doing drugs and don't break the law.
If so, this type of question is moot and unneccessary.
I also have to disagree with the poster above me.
Because someone discovers your name in the paper and chooses not to hire a potential drug user does not make them an idiot. I don't recall you mentioning anything about not smoking marijuana anymore.
So.....figure it out.
